We Tried Some of the Best Bites Still Available at SeaWorld Orlando’s Seven Seas Food Festival

Don’t waste your sampler lanyard. We explore the Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld Orlando to try the best food items still available during the third rotation.

The Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld Orlando is heading into its final stretch, and for foodies, that means navigating the third and final menu rotation. If you were hoping to snag a favorite from the first few weeks, those dishes have sailed away. However, the current lineup offers a diverse array of global flavors that are worth a visit before the event concludes on May 17. Additionally, each food and beverage marketplace has menu items that have been a part of the event since it started on January 30. Yes, the Seven Seas Food Festival has been going on for over three months.
During our latest visit, we focused on four heavy hitters currently available: Chicken Asado Tacos, Pork Boudin Balls, Bananas Foster Beignets, and Chicken Tikka Masala. These were some of our top-rated festival items. We expected to only have good dining experiences. That turned out to be mostly accurate.
Chicken Asado Tacos (Mexico Marketplace)

In our previous look at the Chicken Asado Tacos, we noted they were a significant improvement over the previous rotations, boasting vibrant colors and generous portions. However, during this most recent stop, the execution didn’t quite reach those same heights. While the blue corn tortillas remain a unique touch, the consistency of the grilled chicken and the balance of the cilantro crema can vary.
Just to be fair, the blue corn tortillas have been a weakness for the entire event. They are too thin to hold up to the taco filling, often creating a mess. Still, these tacos are a solid choice for a savory, filling bite. Nevertheless, on this visit, they lacked some of the “shine” we experienced on day one of this rotation. We are making one more visit to the Seven Seas Food Festival before it ends. We may revisit these to confirm whether they are try to find out if they are truly a good option.
Pork Boudin Balls (Gulf Coast Market)

These continue to be a festival favorite for a reason. The exterior provides a satisfying crunch that gives way to a well-seasoned, savory pork and rice interior. Guests receive five boudin balls. They are topped with remoulade sauce, which works nicely. It’s a decent pork-and-rice portion that feels like a great use of a lanyard credit, offering a taste of New Orleans right in the heart of Orlando.
Chicken Tikka Masala (Indian Market)

For those looking for something beyond standard theme park fare, the Chicken Tikka Masala is a standout. The sauce is rich and aromatic, providing a warm spice profile that isn’t overly aggressive but still feels authentic. It’s one of the more sophisticated dishes currently available.
The Indian Marketplace has been consistently one of the best, if not the best, food and beverage locations at the 2026 Seven Seas Food Festival. Even though we preferred the Butter Chicken and the Tandoori Chicken over this festival item, it still makes a good choice.
Of course, food festivals are funny creatures. We have encountered this dish three times so far. The first time, it impressed us enough to place it on the best list. However, we saw it during the second week of the third rotation and were not impressed. Thus, we tried it again in the third week of the event. This time, the sauce, rice, and chicken work far better together.
Bananas Foster Beignets (Gulf Coast Market)

If want a dessert at the Seven Seas Food Festival, this should be the top contender. The Bananas Foster Beignets are served warm and pillowy, topped with a rich bananas foster sauce that provides a decadent, caramel-like sweetness. It is a messy but mandatory experience for anyone with a sweet tooth.
What Guests Need to Know Before Visiting the Seven Seas Food Festival

Event Dates and Times
The Seven Seas Food Festival runs Thursdays through Sundays. Keep in mind that the festival marketplaces usually open at 2:00 p.m. during the week and at noon on weekends. Also, they will close before the park closes most days.
The Rotation Factor
We are firmly in the third rotation. This means if you are looking at reviews from February or March, many of those items are no longer available. The current menu is what you will find from now until the end of the festival on May 17.
Maximize Value with a Sampler Lanyard

Individual food items generally range from $10 to $12. If you plan on trying more than two or three things, the Sampler Lanyard is a necessity. You can purchase 10 or 15-item lanyards, which significantly brings down the cost per dish. Annual pass members should also check for exclusive lanyard deals that offer even more value.
Plan for Crowds

Saturdays and Sundays are predictably the busiest days. If you want to avoid long lines at the more popular booths, try visiting on a Thursday or Friday afternoon, or head to the back of the park first to hit the marketplaces near Expedition Odyssey and Sesame Street Land before they get crowded.
The third rotation of the Seven Seas Food Festival offers some of the most flavorful dishes of the year. While consistency can vary, the variety currently on the menu ensures there is something for every palate.
