Four parks. Sixteen rides. One weekend of chaos, community, and Disney magic — and this time we’re celebrating five years of it. Mark your calendars.
Okay, but what actually is Main Street 16?
Main Street 16 started as a scrappy idea between friends who wanted an excuse to get the Main Street Magic community together in the parks — and it’s turned into one of our favorite weekends of the year. Part meetup, part ride challenge, part “why are we like this” energy.
The name comes from the challenge itself: 16 rides get randomly selected across Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom — four per park. On challenge day, teams pick one ride per park to complete. Simple to explain, weirdly hard to execute once you factor in Lightning Lane, park hopping, and how far Animal Kingdom is from literally everything.
Social Kickoff
We start with a low-key meetup so everyone can put faces to usernames before the chaos begins.
The 16 Ride Challenge
Teams of up to four race across all four parks to complete one randomly-selected ride per park — bragging rights included.
Awards Celebration
We close out the weekend celebrating the crews who pulled it off (and roasting whoever got stuck in the Kali River Rapids line).
Here’s how 2025 went down
