Orlando Magical Dining: How to Experience Fine Theme Park and Resort Dining Without the Luxury Price Tag

Published by Jon Self on

Savor the best resort eats during Orlando Magical Dining 2026. There are many participating spots at Disney and Universal where guests can dine and give to charity.

One of the most anticipated foodie events in Central Florida is officially back. Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining 2026, presented by Orlando Health, is celebrating its 21st year of spectacular flavor and community impact. From August 14 through September 30, 2026, locals and theme park travelers can dive into three-course, prix-fixe dinners at a record-breaking 188 participating restaurants across the city.

This year, the Orlando Magical Dining 2026 program features two pricing tiers: $40 or $60 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Even better, it all benefits a wonderful cause: $1 from every $40 meal and $2 from every $60 meal goes directly to local charities, with this year’s primary beneficiary being OCA (Opportunity, Community, Ability), a nonprofit empowering individuals with autism and developmental differences. Whether you are staying on-site or spending your evening winding down after a day in the theme parks, we have put together the ultimate guide to the best participating restaurants at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort.

“This is shaping up to be the biggest year in the history of Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining, with a record 188 restaurants participating across the destination,” said Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando. “What makes this program so special is that everyone benefits. Diners can enjoy exceptional meals at a great value, local restaurants welcome new and returning customers, and every meal helps support nonprofits that are making a difference in Central Florida. Few programs create this kind of positive impact for restaurants, diners and our community all at the same time, and Visit Orlando is proud to bring this signature event to life each year.”

The History of Orlando Magical Dining & Charity Impact

OCA charity- Orlando Magical Dining 2026

First launched in 2005 by Visit Orlando, Magical Dining was originally created to help local restaurants navigate the slower, late-summer shoulder season of August and September. Over the past 21 years, it has blossomed into one of the largest and most successful city-wide dining promotions in the United States. Since its dedicated charity component was introduced in 2009, the program has raised nearly $3.3 million for local Central Florida non-profit organizations.

Orlando Magical Dining 2026: The Charity Partners

  • Primary Beneficiary – OCA (Opportunity, Community, Ability): Funds raised in 2026 will directly support therapy scholarships, developmental programs, and early intervention services for individuals with autism and developmental differences, as well as career-focused resources for young adults transitioning out of high school.
  • Community Expansion: In addition to supporting OCA, Visit Orlando will award $3,000 donations to key nonprofits in each of Orange County’s six commission districts to maximize the local footprint of the event.

“Every investment in OCA helps create opportunities that can change the course of someone’s life,” said Silvia Haas, CEO of OCA. “Being selected as a charity beneficiary of Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining is an incredible honor that will help us expand programs that empower individuals with special needs while providing families with the support, resources, and community they need to thrive together.”
