The new item showed up on Blue Ribbon’s Instagram this week, and it’s exactly what the name promises: a King’s Hawaiian roll skewered and deep-fried the way this location’s cult favorite Fried Hawaiian Rolls always are, then loaded up with a pumpkin cheesecake filling in place of the usual cinnamon sugar and condensed milk drizzle. It’s a seasonal remix of a snack that’s already earned a permanent spot on our must-order list.

Blue Ribbon has built its whole identity on taking a familiar fair food format and pushing it somewhere unexpected. The Deep Fried Hawaiian Rolls, dipped in cinnamon sugar and finished with sweetened condensed milk, have been a BoardWalk sleeper hit since they crossed over from the Downtown Disney location.
