Today, BBC Studios and Macy’s announced that a brand-new giant new Bluey parade balloon inspired by the fan-favorite holiday episode will take to the skies above New York City as part of the landmark 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Featuring Bluey wearing her festive Christmas crown, the new balloon celebrates one of the series’ most beloved family holiday moments and marks an exciting milestone for fans of the global phenomenon.

New Bluey Parade Balloon Inspired by the “Christmas Swim” Episode

The updated design draws direct inspiration from the “Christmas Swim” episode, currently streaming on Disney+. In the story, Bluey and her family gather for a classic Aussie Christmas featuring a massive poolside BBQ. The giant holiday-themed balloon replicates the memorable scene where the Heeler family pulls Christmas crackers and dons paper crowns together around the grill.

Engineered with a unique pose conceptualized by Ludo Studio and brought to life by the talented artists at Macy’s Parade Studio, the colossal balloon measures:

• Length: 47 feet long
• Width: 27.8 feet wide
• Height: 47.2 feet tall

Adding even more magic to the moment, Melanie Zanetti and Dave McCormack, the voice actors behind Mum (Chilli) and Dad (Bandit), will be in New York City to experience the parade.
