The Wedge at EPCOT Food & Wine 2026: Crab Mac, a Cheese Selection and a Cannoli Milk Shake Review

Selection of Cheeses Epcot Food & Wine

Cheese is having a moment at Epcot. CommuniCore Hall hosts The Wedge, an Epcot festival location hosted by Dairy Does More, a brand-new 2026 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival stop built around the world’s most beloved dairy product. Our food reporters tried three of its most talked-about items: a crab-topped mac and cheese, a cheese plate, and a milkshake that tastes like a cannoli. Here is what we thought, plus everything you need to know before you go.

What Is The Wedge Epcot Food and Beverage Location?

The Wedge Epcot is a festival food-and-beverage location inside CommuniCore Hall in World Celebration. It is part of Disney’s Cheers to Cheese interactive exhibit, which celebrates the history of cheese and the fun facts behind it. The food items carry the Emile’s Fromage Montage label, a nod to Remy’s cheese-loving brother from Ratatouille. We would like to think Emile approves of the crab. He seems like a guy who would.

The Wedge Epcot festival location is only open for part of the festival. It runs through November 8, 2026, while the festival itself continues through November 21. So, you have about three weeks left to get your cheese on.

Crab and Corn Macaroni and Cheese at The Wedge Epcot

Price: $7.19

What it is: Macaroni and cheese with smoked cheddar sauce, bacon, crab seasoning, roasted corn, herbed panko and jalapeños, topped with a generous mound of crab meat. Walt Disney World labels it a 30th Anniversary Legacy Item.

Our thoughts: Our food reporter was most excited about this dish, and it delivered. The cheese sauce was light enough to let the other ingredients shine; the bacon added crispiness, and the corn still had a pleasant crunch. The jalapeños brought flavor without much noticeable heat during his tasting.

The crab wasn’t heavily incorporated into the sauce, but there was enough on top to mix into the pasta and get some in every bite. For a blue crab fan, this was everything our food reporter wanted. It is a hefty portion, too. Come hungry, or bring someone willing to share their macaroni. We understand that can be a big ask.

Our verdict: A strong recommendation for crab lovers and one of our food reporter’s favorites of the day.

Selection of Cheeses

Price: $7.29

What it is: A selection of three cheeses with accompaniments, featuring Proudly Wisconsin Cheese. Our Food & Wine Festival plate included a fruit spread, fruit, raisins still on the stem, and a crunchy, honey-bound granola-style bite.

Our thoughts: Our food reporter’s tasting included a bit of cheese detective work. The exact varieties were not confirmed, but she identified what tasted like a sharp white cheddar, a blue cheese, and a firmer yellow cheese.

The creamy blue cheese was their favorite, especially paired with the granola-style accompaniment. She also enjoyed the sharp white cheese. The yellow cheese was less successful for her because its crumbly texture lacked the creaminess she preferred.

Their biggest request? More accompaniments. The cheese was generous, but the crunchy bites to eat alongside it were limited. A few crackers would have gone a long way.

Our verdict: A good option for cheese lovers, especially if you are sharing. Our food reporter would order it again, with the blue cheese taking top honors.

Cannoli Milk Shake at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

Price: $5.49

What it is: A nonalcoholic cannoli milkshake topped with chocolate shavings, a piece of cannoli shell, and a maraschino cherry.

Our thoughts: This was a big hit with our food reporter. The shake had more flavor than a basic vanilla milkshake, with a subtle note she described as almond-like. That was their tasting impression, not a confirmed ingredient, but whatever the combination, they loved it.

The crunchy cannoli shell made it even better. It also earned presentation points, with the straw poking through the shell piece.

Our verdict: One of our food reporter’s standout treats and an enthusiastic repeat order.

Is The Wedge Worth Your Festival Dollars?

Selection of Cheeses Epcot Food & Wine

For crab fans, yes. The Crab and Corn Macaroni and Cheese is the one to chase, and the portion is big enough to split. The Cannoli Milk Shake is the easy win for anyone with a sweet tooth, and at $5.49 it is one of the friendlier prices we have seen at this festival. The Selection of Cheeses is best for dedicated cheese people who plan to share, and we would suggest asking if any extra accompaniments are available.

Quick tips:

  • Share the mac and cheese. It is a big portion, and you have a whole festival to get through.
  • Bring a friend for the cheese plate. Three cheeses go further when split.
  • Check out the Cheers to Cheese exhibit while you are in CommuniCore Hall.
  • Go before November 8. After that, The Wedge Epcot food and beverages are gone for the year.
