Central Florida is gearing up for a monumental summer holiday. To honor America’s milestone 250th birthday, Legoland Florida is rolling out its most ambitious Independence Day celebration ever. For one night on Saturday, July 4, 2026, Red, White & BOOM! returns as the absolute crown jewel of the summer calendar.

With extended park operating hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., hands-on patriotic builds, and a record-breaking fireworks display, this event is the ultimate time to experience the resort. Here is everything you need to know about the holiday block party.

12 Minutes of Magic: A Record-Breaking Red, White & BOOM! Fireworks Spectacular

A family of three—a boy, man, and woman—sit on the grass at night, looking up and smiling while wearing 3D glasses. Red, glowing fireworks shaped like Lego bricks burst across the dark sky above them for Red, White & BOOM!

The undisputed highlight of Red, White & BOOM! is the evening grand finale over Lake Eloise. Legoland Florida has extended this year’s show to an epic 12-minute fireworks spectacular, making it the largest, loudest, and most dazzling 4th of July production in the park’s history.

In true Legoland Florida fashion, the park is bringing back its special viewing glasses. Distributed to families starting at 7:45 p.m., these holographic lenses transform every single exploding burst of light into colorful LEGO brick shapes right before your eyes.

The patriotic energy builds all day long with family-friendly entertainment:

  • American Flag LEGO Build: Guests can get collaborative and help master builders construct a giant, patriotic LEGO display.
  • DJ Dance Party: Starting at 6 p.m., a high-energy dance floor opens up with interactive games and tracks for kids of all ages.
  • Character Meet-and-Greets: Special patriotic photo opportunities will be scattered throughout the park leading up to the big show.
