Fasten Your Seatbelts: LEGO F1 to Headline the Brand-New Thrill Zone at Legoland Florida Resort

Get ready for a full-throttle summer adventure at Legoland Florida Resort, featuring the action-packed LEGO F1 Thrill Zone from July 20 to August 16.

Theme park fans and racing enthusiasts, get ready to start your engines. Legoland Florida Resort announced a new addition to its summer lineup. Lego F1 will officially headline the brand-new Thrill Zone during Lego Festival 2026, marking the first major IP partner revealed for this year’s celebration.
This limited-time event is built for kids to take the lead, featuring five interactive zones: Music, Creative, Chill-Out, and the brand-new Thrill and Play Zones. The Lego Festival starts as soon as the FIFA World Cup event ends on July 19. Running from July 20 through August 16, 2026, Lego Festival will transform the resort into a full-scale celebration of play and imagination.
LEGO F1 Thrill Zone Soon Hits Legoland Florida

The Lego F1 Thrill Zone experience will bring the high-octane buzz of an authentic F1 Race Day to life with hands-on racing builds, high-energy entertainment, and family pit crew challenges. Guests can test their speed in the Brick Stop Challenge, where families work together against the clock to complete the fastest Lego F1 pit stop tire change around a Lego F1 car.
Entertainment shifts into high gear with the Pit Lane Hype Show, a live, beat-driven drum and percussion experience performed entirely with tools and snapping bricks to capture the true pulse of a race weekend. For those looking to compete, kids and adults alike can become race engineers for the day, designing and building their own Lego F1 brick vehicles to race down the track. The Thrill Zone will also place a unique spotlight on F1 ACADEMY, a junior racing championship created to inspire the next generation of female talent, helping girls connect with the world of motorsports in an empowering way.
“Lego Festival is built for kids and powered by play. It’s a limited-time experience where creativity takes the lead and imaginations run wild,” said Brian Bacica, vice president, Legoland Florida Resort. “With LEGO® F1®headlining our new Thrill Zone, families can drive into the excitement of race day through this first-of-its-kind pit stop challenge. It’s fast, colorful and packed with feel-good fun for everyone from start to finish.”

In addition to the racing action, there will be plenty of photo opportunities to capture a winner’s circle moment, including character meet-and-greets with Lego pit crew members.
