The Florida theme park announced the appointment of Jon Vigue as its new Busch Gardens president, stepping into the role during a significant period for the park, which is currently in the middle of a massive, multi-faceted $100 million investment dedicated to brand-new attractions, entertainment options, and park-wide enhancements.

Vigue brings nearly 30 years of attractions industry experience to the park. He joins the team following a highly successful tenure at Wild Adventures Theme Park in Georgia, where he championed operational strategies that elevated guest satisfaction and established long-term growth. Prior to that, Vigue spent nearly two decades revitalizing Connecticut’s historic Lake Compounce Theme Park. He has also been a heavily involved leader within the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) since 2007, recently serving as the Chair of the Food & Beverage Committee for North America.

Park guests visiting over the next few weeks can dive into the return of the fan-favorite Summer Nights event, running most days through August 9. The event features extended park hours, allowing thrill-seekers to coast through the dark, alongside a stellar lineup of seasonal entertainment:
