Bacica now oversees the main theme park, Peppa Pig Theme Park, the water park, SEA Life aquarium, and resort hotels, placing him at the helm of all major operations.

“Legoland Florida Resort is entering an incredibly exciting period of expansion and innovation, and I’m honored to lead the team as we deliver on some highly anticipated park updates,” Bacica said.

He succeeds Franceen Gonzales, who left the position last July after less than a year on the job.

From Busch Gardens to Legoland — A Seasoned Leader

Before joining Legoland Florida, Bacica served briefly as president of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. His career includes leadership positions at Six Flags Great Adventure, Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Disneyland Resort. Bacica’s extensive experience in theme-park operations, from food and beverage to executive management, positions him as a versatile leader ready to guide Legoland Florida through its next phase of growth.
