Marvel fans can fuel up with happy Avengers Doomsday coffee cans featuring heroes and Doctor Doom ahead of the December theater release.

Marvel Studios’ next monumental blockbuster won’t hit theaters until December 18, but fans can already get an energetic taste of the action. Robert Downey Jr. and Craig Dubitsky, co-founders of the premium beverage brand happy, have officially introduced a collector’s edition ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee line created in partnership with Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Doomsday.”

The new happy Avengers Doomsday Coffee collaboration marries pop culture fandom with high-quality caffeine delivery. Co-founder Robert Downey Jr., who plays Doctor Doom in the upcoming film, delivered a direct teaser for the release:

“Doomsday is coming. We brought coffee. Eight cans, eight characters, zero spoilers.”

Wishing Marvel fans and caffeine lovers everywhere a “happy Doomsday,” this limited-time offering features eight distinct, collectible 11oz can designs with high-resolution, tactile graphics. Each design highlights iconic figures from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe:

  • Black Panther
  • Captain America
  • Gambit
  • Mister Fantastic
  • Mystique
  • The Thing
  • Thor
  • Doctor Doom (portrayed by Downey himself)

The partnership reflects a growing trend of major film franchises teaming up with food and beverage brands to build excitement long before premiere night. Marvel enthusiasts will recall similar high-profile promotional campaigns, such as the Bero Spider-Man beer release limited time cans return, the nationwide rollout of the Dunkin Avengers Doomsday menu, and the interactive Pop Secret Avengers Doomsday campaign.

Underneath the superhero artwork, the collaboration packs four of happy’s most popular ready-to-drink recipes into the 11oz collectible cans:

  • Classic Cold Brew
  • Tahitian Vanilla Cold Brew
  • Vanilla Latte
  • Chocolatey Chip Latte

“When the stakes are this high, every hero needs the right fuel,” said Holly Frank, VP, Global Marketing Partnerships & Promotions at Disney. “As fans gear up to see ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ in theaters, happy is giving them a fun way to get charged up and ready for their next adventure.”

For happy co-founder Craig Dubitsky, the unexpected pairing of a cheerful brand with an apocalyptic movie title was an opportunity too good to pass up.

“A company called happy collaborating with a movie called Doomsday felt too perfect to pass up,” said Dubitsky. “Great films like this create anticipation, participation, connection and, ultimately, joy. That’s the business we’re in, too. Coffee is our first delivery system, with plenty more ways to deliver that feeling ahead.”
