This annual holiday event transforms the park into a winter wonderland featuring over 10 million twinkling lights, festive fireworks, and the dazzling Christmas on Ice show. Guests can meet Santa and Rudolph, ride the Holly Jolly Express, and enjoy seasonal treats at Christmas Town Village. The event runs on most evenings through January 5, 2026, and is included with park admission.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay once again brings big holiday flavor to Christmas Town, and this time we’re diving into a dish that feels downright fancy for a theme park food booth: Beef Wellington. Yes—actual Wellington. At a Christmas cabin. Santa would be proud. Guests can find this at Cabin 11: The Yule Hearth, near the Coke Canopy, where Story Time with Mrs. Claus takes place.

This seasonal menu item features tender beef cuts wrapped in flaky puff pastry, topped with mushrooms and a rich red wine demi-glace. It’s priced at $10, like most Christmas Town offerings. Naturally, we grabbed our sampler lanyard and leaned into the holiday spirit.

Our serving included four bite-sized Wellington pieces, each one a cute little puff-pastry pod stuffed with beef. Picture a classy hors d’oeuvre tray at a fancy party, but instead of being passed by someone named “Chadwick,” it’s handed to you by a cheerful ambassador in a Christmas sweater. A generous amount of red wine demi-glaze coats the pieces. So much so that you might want a napkin (or a bib, if you’re committed to staying jolly).

Beef Wellington Christmas Town: Flavor & Realistic Expectations

Beef Wellington Christmas Town

Let’s be fair: recreating a gourmet Beef Wellington Christmas Town at a theme park festival is a bold swing. It is kind of like trying to ride Iron Gwazi right after eating chicken and funnel cake. Trust us, we have done it!

Here’s what works:
– All elements of a Wellington are here: beef, mushrooms, flaky pastry, demi-glaze.
– The beef was tender enough for theme-park standards.
– The mushrooms and sauce added solid flavor.
– The creativity of making mini Wellington bites deserves applause.

Here’s what to expect:
If you’re looking for a high-end, chef-led Beef Wellington à la Gordon Ramsay, your sleigh is flying in the wrong direction. The flavor is good, not mind-blowing. It is more in line with “festival fun” than “culinary masterpiece.” Still, for a $10 theme-park-festival dish, this is a smart, flavorful, satisfying option you won’t regret trying. It lands in that sweet spot of, “Yep, I’d eat that again.” Additionally, we named them Beef Wellington Bites or Mini Beef Wellington. The menu board calls them simply “Beef Wellington,” which is probably not a great title for this dish.

Christmas Town Sampler Lanyard Savings

Christmas Town Food Lanyard

If you want the best value at Christmas Town, the Sampler Lanyard is your holiday best friend. These lanyards significantly reduce the per-item cost of dishes like Beef Wellington.

Current options include:

  • 5-item lanyard – $45
  • 10-item lanyard – $65

Using a lanyard drops the price well below the standard $10-per-item rate, making it ideal for guests sampling food across multiple cabins. If you plan on eating your way through Christmas Town (which we highly recommend), the lanyard is practically a stocking stuffer for yourself. Additionally, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay pass members receive 12 samples when purchasing a sampler lanyard for $65.

Mini Beef Wellington Busch Gardens

The Mini Beef Wellington at Busch Gardens Christmas Town is a fun, creative seasonal dish. While it won’t change your life or bring you to tears of culinary joy, it’s definitely a flavorful holiday win, especially when you use the sampler lanyard. If you’re managing expectations and embracing the festive theme park vibes, this one’s a solid holiday bite worth grabbing.
