The Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up Menu arrives at Magic Kingdom on October 4, bringing barbecue small plates and new cocktails to Liberty Square.

Liberty Square’s Diamond Horseshoe is finally getting its own unique dining again. Walt Disney World confirmed a new limited-time food and beverage pop-up will open inside the historic saloon on October 4, with reservations opening September 29, bringing frontier-style small plates, specialty drinks, and a full cocktail menu to a corner of Magic Kingdom. Disney previewed the full menu, and it leans hard into the saloon’s Wild West theming- think barbecue, queso, and a whiskey-forward bar list.

Two round pastries with white glaze, chocolate and caramel drizzles, and chopped nuts on a white plate.

This new arrangement replaces the temporary Cool Kid’s Summer experience, Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue. Before that, Diamond Horseshoe served the Liberty Tree Tavern at menu.

For a saloon that’s mostly sat quiet, this is a genuinely ambitious rollout, six small plates and ten drinks is more than most Magic Kingdom quick-service spots offer. Whether it sticks around past the holidays or turns out to be a one-and-done fall experiment remains to be seen, but if the burnt ends queso is even half as good as it sounds, expect lines.
