T-Rex Cafe: A Journey Back to the Mesozoic Era

Imagine stepping into a world where dinosaurs roam, meteor showers light up the sky, and ancient ice caves glow with an otherworldly light. That’s precisely what you’ll find at T-Rex Cafe. This immersive, dinosaur-themed restaurant isn’t just a place to eat; it’s an adventure. Located in the bustling heart of Disney Springs, it’s a favorite among families and anyone seeking a unique dining experience.

From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by animatronic dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes, from a majestic Woolly Mammoth to a towering T-Rex. Every 20 minutes or so, a “meteor shower” sweeps through the restaurant, bringing the prehistoric environment to life with exciting lights and sounds. You can even excavate for fossils in the Paleo Zone, or shop for dino-mite souvenirs in the Dino-Store. It’s a feast for the senses, and now, it’s serving up a feast for your taste buds with this exciting new menu.

Pack your bags (and your appetite) because we’re leaving the Cretaceous period for a bit to explore the flavors of the Mediterranean. These limited-time items offer a refreshing twist on the classic hearty fare for which T-Rex Cafe is known.

New Entrées & Shareables

  • Tuscan Pork Chop: A lemon and herb marinated pork chop served with a white bean ragout, white wine tomato broth, spinach, tomatoes, and creamy feta mashed potatoes.
  • Triassic Trio: A massive plate featuring crab and shrimp gratin, chimichurri grilled shrimp, and a char-grilled sirloin steak with steak butter. It’s served with Raptor rice and seasonal vegetables.
  • Seafood Stuffed Salmon & Gnocchi: (Created by Karen Ortiz-Aguirre) Salmon stuffed with crab and shrimp, paired with potato gnocchi, a rich lobster cream sauce, spinach, sweet peas, and crispy pancetta.
  • Supersaurus Sampler: Perfect for the whole “herd,” this platter includes Cheesy Skillet Meatballs, Nashville Hot boneless wings, Chili Con Queso, Caprese Flatbread, and Mozzarella Sticks. You can even add St. Louis style pork spareribs!
  • Mediterranean Skewers: Marinated beef and chicken skewers served with grilled broccolini, a tomato-cucumber feta salad, roasted cherry tomatoes, rice pilaf, and cool tzatziki sauce.
  • Meteor Meatloaf: Homemade meatloaf topped with BBQ sauce and fried onion strings, served alongside red skinned mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
  • Chimichurri T-Bone: A massive 17 oz. T-Bone steak served with roasted fingerling potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a unique blue cheese steak butter.
  • Orleans Steak & Shrimp: Another 17 oz. T-Bone option, featuring the same fingerling potatoes and blue cheese steak butter setup.
  • Seafood Trinity: (Created by Timothy Lewis) A seafood lover’s dream consisting of seafood lasagna, crab and shrimp gratin, and grilled pesto shrimp over pesto fettucine.
  • Spinach-Feta Sirloin & Shrimp: (Created by Traun Parker) Grilled sirloin topped with sundried tomato, feta, and spinach, accompanied by pesto grilled shrimp, herb roasted fingerling potatoes, and grilled broccolini.

The Sweet Finish

  • Chocolate Extinction: This fan-favorite is back to help you end your meal with a bang! It features chocolate fudge cake, ice cream, whipped topping, fudge and caramel sauce, and Butterfinger crumbles (designed to serve 3-4 people).

  • Island Margarita: Don Julio Blanco Tequila, triple sec, Reál Pineapple Purée, lime and pineapple juices, and sweet & sour.

  • Tangled Up in Blue: Don Q Pasión Rum, blue curacao, lemonade, orgeat, and butterfly pea syrup.
