Get your spoons and baking sheets ready. General Mills is bringing the Mushroom Kingdom to your kitchen with a new lineup of limited-edition treats inspired by Nintendo and Illumination’s upcoming film, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Launching just in time for the film’s global release on April 1, these cosmic snacks turn breakfast and dessert into a full-blown galactic adventure. From strawberry-coated cereal to Yoshi-inspired cookies, there is something for every fan to enjoy while waiting for the movie to hit the big screen.

Galactic Flavors for Every Fan

The collaboration features three main products hitting shelves nationwide:

  • Lucky Charms Strawberry Cereal: This special edition features strawberry-coated pieces mixed with “Galactic Marshmallows” shaped like planets and stars.
  • Pillsbury Ready to Bake! Yoshi Shape Sugar Cookies: Fans can bake up bite-sized treats featuring the iconic Yoshi Egg design.
  • Fruit Roll-Ups Variety Pack: Inspired by Bowser Jr.’s paintbrush, these packs include Strawberry Blast, Tropical Tie-Dye, and Blue Razzberry, complete with film-inspired tongue tattoos.

Exclusive Super Mario Galaxy Movie Cosmic Finds at Walmart

The adventure continues with exclusive items available only at Walmart and Walmart.com. Fans can hunt for Trix Blue Raspberry Cereal with space-swirled corn puffs or the Super Mario Mystery Box, which contains a collectible Yoshi Egg that opens to reveal a pouch of Blue Raspberry Trix.

“We set out to create products that turn everyday moments into playful adventures,” said Blake Holman, Sr. Director of Brand Building at General Mills. “Inspired by the teamwork and camaraderie of Mario and friends, these offerings bring the iconic characters of Nintendo and Illumination’s The Super Mario Galaxy Movie into your home, extending the movie magic long after the credits roll.”

Beyond these specific releases, over 100 General Mills products from brands like Nature Valley, Totino’s, and Old El Paso will also join the celebration. Fans looking for more fun can head to ItsGalaxyTime.com for recipes and activities. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie officially opens in U.S. theaters on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
