The Sense and Sensibility Popcorn Bucket Is a Stack of Antique Books

The Sense and Sensibility Popcorn Bucket is a tin that looks like four antique books. So, Regal and Fandango are offering a book-stack popcorn tin for the new Sense and Sensibility movie. Here is what it costs, what is included, and which one to buy.
Regal is turning popcorn into a literary event. The Sense and Sensibility Popcorn Bucket is a tin designed to look like four antique books stacked on top of each other, and it is already being called one of the prettiest theater collectibles of the year. It arrives alongside Focus Features’ new Jane Austen adaptation, which opens in theaters on October 16, 2026. Here is what the tin looks like, how to get one from Regal or Fandango, and whether it deserves a spot on your bookshelf. (Spoiler: it probably does, even if you never eat a single kernel out of it.)
What the Sense and Sensibility Popcorn Bucket Looks Like
The top book is the lid. It has a deep red cover with the title stamped in gold, and it opens on a hinge to reveal Jane Austen’s signature inside. Along the side, gold-tooled spines appear in red, brown, and green, with page edges running along the front. Focus Features’ own post on X describes the design as four books stacked together, with the top cover serving as the lid. The top book opens to reveal the popcorn compartment.
It looks like something you would find on a library shelf, which is exactly the point. Most popcorn buckets look like popcorn buckets. This one looks like homework you actually want to do.
The bookish crowd is paying attention. A CinemaBlend writer who says she is not normally a popcorn bucket person called it a win for book lovers and said it would match her bookends. Regal’s Instagram post, according to that same article, splits the audience into three groups: romantics, readers, and popcorn people. Honestly, that covers most of us.
Where to Buy the Sense and Sensibility Popcorn Bucket

There are two ways to get one, and they are not equal.
Regal Cinemas. At Regal, the tin comes with a large popcorn at select theaters while supplies last. Regal has not publicly listed a price for the collectible.
Fandango. Fandango is selling the tin online in the I Require So Much Bundle for $44.99 with a movie ticket. The name comes from a line by Marianne Dashwood in the novel. The bundle includes one tin and one Fandango promo code for a movie ticket, which arrives in a separate email. Shipping is added at checkout; the tin ships to U.S. addresses only; buyers must be 18 or older; and the bundle is non-refundable. Most importantly, popcorn is not included. You can see the offer on Fandango’s bundle page.
| Detail | Regal Cinemas | Fandango bundle |
| Popcorn included | Yes, a large popcorn | No |
| Price | Not yet listed by Regal | $44.99 plus shipping, includes one movie ticket |
| How you get it | In person at select theaters while supplies last | Shipped to U.S. addresses only, ticket promo code arrives by separate email |
| Fine print | Availability varies by theater | Buyers must be 18 or older, non-refundable |
Which One Should You Buy?
If there is a Regal near you, buy it there. The popcorn is included, and Fantasy Land News calls in-theater buying the better deal for exactly that reason. The Fandango bundle makes more sense if you don’t have a Regal nearby or were already planning to buy a ticket. Since Regal has not announced pricing, we cannot say for certain which route is cheaper yet.
As with every popular theater collectible, expect resellers. Listings for the tin have already appeared on eBay. If you buy secondhand, check the seller and shipping costs carefully, and compare the total against the $44.99 Fandango price, which includes a movie ticket.
