Disney’s Hollywood Studios is refreshing the menu at one of its most immersive dining locations. Starting April 1, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant is introducing a brand-new lineup of “feature presentations” ranging from hearty entrees to a new dessert. This Disney’s Hollywood Studios table-service restaurant earned a reputation for a burger, fries, and shakes menu.
However, these new menu items look like an enhancement to those classic options. In the past, the steps away from the classics have not always been for the best. Thus, the Sci-Fi Dine-In menu changes more often than other Walt Disney World restaurants. While we appreciate the attempts to expand the menu, only time will tell if this Sci-Fi Dine-In menu changes work for Walt Disney World guests.
Sci-Fi Dine-In Menu Changes
The upcoming changes bring a mix of comfort food and elevated flavors to the 1950s-style drive-in. Highlights include the Silver Screen Wings, which offer a choice of hot-honey buffalo or parmesan-garlic sauce, and a Fried Chicken Sandwich featuring a buffalo-tossed thigh and house-made pickle ranch. For those looking for a more substantial meal, the Grilled Pork Chop comes paired with creamy cheese polenta and peach chutney, while the Cheese Ravioli combines brown butter, housemade sausage, and lemon ricotta.
To round out the meal, the Feature Finale offers a colorful dessert: a vanilla sponge roulade with cassis panna cotta and strawberry sauce.
