The Crave continues to rise in Daytona Beach. White Castle, home of The Original Slider and America’s first fast-food hamburger chain, recently broke ground on a new “Castle” at 1944 LPGA Boulevard, Daytona Beach, Florida. The grand opening is forecast for late Fall 2026. This construction started soon after the White Castle Kissimmee location opened.
Modern Design and Community Impact
White Castle Daytona Beach will be designed in White Castle’s modern “neighborhood” prototype style. Plans call for indoor and outdoor seating, as well as two drive-thru lanes where team members will deliver orders directly to cars. When it opens, the new “Castle” will create more than 70 jobs for local residents, reinforcing White Castle’s long-standing commitment to community growth and opportunity.
White Castle Daytona Beach Groundbreaking
Joining White Castle leaders at the groundbreaking at the site where a future grill will be installed were elected officials, development partners, brand ambassadors, and a “sprinkling of the onions” on the spot where a future grill will be placed. The festive event continues the brand’s tradition of blending heritage, community spirit, and a touch of fun, all while showcasing White Castle’s devotion to Central Florida.
“Opening a new Castle in Daytona Beach is a dream come true for our family-owned business,” said White Castle chief marketing officer Jamie Richardson. “Bringing hot, tasty, affordable food available around the clock to more people in new places is the reason we exist. Today’s groundbreaking event means we can officially begin our countdown to opening day and we can’t wait.”
Daytona Beach City manager Deric C. Feacher said, “We’re excited to welcome White Castle to Daytona Beach as its first location in our area. This iconic brand has a loyal following, and its arrival adds to the variety of dining options that make our community such a diverse place to live, work, learn, play and visit.”
