The wait is over! Salt & Straw August flavors have arrived at their Disney Springs location. Find out what’s on the menu and why these scoops are straight from the farmer’s market.

July is over for the Berries series of ice cream flavors at Salt & Straw Disney Springs. However, the special Flavors of Florida ice cream option, La Tropical’s La Original Lager with Guava, lives on through August 10.

Yet, what would the 2025 Salt & Straw August flavors be? We expected some version of the Summer Picnic Series. In fact, we enjoyed the non-traditional flavor combination of Cinnamon & Honey Fried Chicken and Pink Rosé & Watermelon Sorbet in previous years.
However, on July 30, Salt & Straw fans were teased with a social media video showing cookies that look like Oreos being added to an ice cream batter. Would this be a cookie-themed dessert for a Summer Picnic Series? Did this mean a Cookie Series? To our surprise, Tyler Malek, head ice cream maker, unveiled an unexpected series, The Farmers Market Series, as the Salt & Straw August flavors.

The Farmers Market Series – Salt & Straw August Flavors 2025



- Melon & Prosciutto – Prosciutto is gently toasted and reduced to a savory salt, then churned with cream, sugar, and honey into a rich, umami-packed candied prosciutto ice cream. It’s paired with a swirl of our fresh cantaloupe ice cream
- Tomato Gelato + Black Olive Brittle – Crushed tomatoes with buttery Arbequina olive oil and sharp lemon zest, transforming them into a vibrant, creamy gelato. Dehydrated black olives fold into a caramelized butter brittle, adding a salted-candy crunch to the tomato’s fruitiness.
- Pickled Cucumber Sorbet (Vegan) – This flavor harnesses the crisp, clean acidity of Grillo’s pickle brine and amplifies it with fresh puréed cucumber and an herbaceous bouquet of dill.
- Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread – Decadent chunks of our chocolate loaf fold into a chocolate chip ice cream spiked with the same aromatic spices that make zucchini bread so craveable: cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove.
- Peach Jam Miso Blondies (Vegan) – Classic butterscotch blondie batter gets an umami edge from a touch of white miso. Once baked to chewy perfection, the diced bars are scattered throughout a toasted coconut cream, further playing up the sweet-meets-savory flavor. Then come the peaches: plump and juicy, cooked until irresistibly jammy, brightened with a squeeze of citrus and fragrant basil.

- Smoked Mac & Cheese – Side Course – Flour + Water Foods pasta ice cream with Beecher’s Smoked Flagship Cheese cheesecake swirl and clusters of brown butter bread crumbs.
- Cinnamon & Honey Fried Chicken – Entrée Course – Salted vanilla ice cream with fresh croissant bits deep-fried in chicken fat and a touch of cinnamon, honey, and secret Cajun spices
- Sour Cherry Pie – Dessert Course – Salted vanilla ice cream with chunks of almond flour pie crust and hand-candied cherries with a splash of amaretto

- Pink Rosé & Watermelon Sorbet – Ripe watermelon and rosé punch sorbet with drizzles of house-made raspberry rosé jam (Vegan) (First Course)
- Baked Brie & Fig Cheesecake – Salted sweet cream ice cream with chunks of whipped brie cheesecake baked on a candied ritz cracker crust and ribbons of fig jam (Second Course)
- Chocolate Potato Salad – Spiced mustard ice cream seasoned with paprika, celery seed, and dill, chunks of potato chip cookies, and a thick ripple of chocolate fudge (Third Course)
- Cinnamon & Honey Fried Chicken – Salted vanilla ice cream with chicken fat deep fried fresh croissants, a touch of cinnamon, splash of honey, and shake of secret spices (Fourth Course)
- Sour Cherry Pie – Salted vanilla ice cream with hand-candied cherries with a splash of amaretto and studded with chunks of almond flour pie crust (Fifth Course)
August 2022 – The Veggies You Crave Series
- Carrot Cake Batter with Pralined Hazelnuts – Sugar-coated and slow-roasted carrots blended into a creamy spiced ice cream with a hint of molasses, a swirl of cheesecake frosting, and crunchy candied hazelnuts
- Spinach Cake with Chocolate Tahini Fudge – Double vanilla ice cream with crumbles of puréed spinach golden-green cake with chocolate frosting and smears of rich house-made tahini fudge
- Green Fennel and Maple – Fennel and maple ice cream made with the entire fennel plant- fennel bulbs steeped in maple syrup and toasted fennel seeds and juiced leaves steeped in fennel pollen and maple syrup
- Charred Corn Curd, Cotija, & Tajin – House-made mayo ice cream with a touch of lime and tajin ribboned with torched fresh corn blended into a corn curd and crumbled with fresh cotija cheese
- Red Chili Curry & Makrut Lime Crispy Rice – Roasted red chili curry, lemongrass, spices, and a splash of makrut lime churned with coconut cream and topped with handfuls of crispy rice florenrines loaded with makrut lime (Vegan)
