This keeps the horror to the paid staff. This event is intended for mature audiences (13+), featuring intense horror content(violence, gore, strobe effects). While under-18s are allowed, it’s recommended for teens and adults seeking adrenaline‑fueled fear.

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay promises to present guests with five haunted houses. Up to this point, the only house information we have involves a returning house. The Stranglewood Estates will open up again for the Howl-O-Scream. Guests can step inside Madame Stranglewood’s cursed manor and navigate eerie corridors, hidden basements, and spine‑tingling scares.
Latest Announcement: Shadows of Wonderland
Shadows of Wonderland, a brand-new house in 2024, returns for Howl-O-Scream 2025 at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. This house plays into the idea of what would happen in a universe in which Alice abandons Wonderland. The description for this house reads, “Step back into Wonderland, but not as you remember it. This warped dreamscape has come from years of torment under the Queen of Hearts’ reign of terror. Once playful characters have become bitter shadows, their anger fueled by Alice’s abandonment. Now, you must confront this distorted reality and face a vengeful Queen who wants Alice and you gone.”
Returning Scare Zone: Ragnar’s Wrath
In addition to the returning house announcement of Shadows of Wonderland, Howl-O-Scream revealed that the scare zone, Ragnar’s Wrath, would return. This scare zone plays into Norse mythology, like Galkn: Monsters of the North, which will be at Halloween Horror Nights. The description for this returning scare zone reads, “The icy winds of Niflheim howl as you approach a charred Viking longhouse, its stench of death a prelude to the horrors within.”
