Halloween Horror Nights 2025 is gearing up for another terrifying season, and Universal Orlando has just announced a brand-new Gálkn: Monsters of the North haunted house

The week of spooky announcements regarding Halloween Horror Nights 2025 Orlando concluded today with the fifth and final original-themed house being revealed. Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) fans have learned about four original-themed houses. Assuming something very odd does not occur with the final two Halloween Horror Nights house announcements, Halloween Horror Nights fans learned today that the final original-themed house would be themed to Vikings.
Gálkn: Monsters of the North – Halloween Horror Nights Final Original House
Following the pattern of the previous three announcements this week, the official Halloween Horror Nights account posted the Gálkn: Monsters of the North haunted house announcement at 10:34 a.m. Friday. This year marks the 34th anniversary of the spooky event at Universal Studios Florida, which likely determined the time when announcements are made.
The official announcement read: “In a remote northern village, a wicked being rises from the dead, bringing a horde of monsters and demons from the fjords to wreak havoc on the townspeople. You’ll face icy, horned, winged and wolfish fiends that gradually merge into one giant horror. Then you’ll try to escape the belly of the beast.“
Like the other HHN announcement made this week, it does not involve much detail. Still, we brainstormed some things that guests might see within this Gálkn: Monsters of the North house. Our list includes the following:
- Charred Villages: Smoldering huts, scorched earth, and the aftermath of Viking raids.
- Stormy Docks: Rotted piers, wrecked longships, and drowned crew members with barnacle-covered bodies.
- Snowy Forests: Haunted woods with frozen corpses impaled on spears or trapped in ice.
- Undead Berserkers: Rabid Viking warriors with bloodied axes and glowing eyes.
- Blood Rituals: Horrifying sacrifice scenes with haunting chants in Old Norse.
- Thunder & War Horns: Deafening sound effects shaking the halls.

We will all need to wait until the event starts to learn more about the recently announced Halloween Horror Nights 2025 Orlando house. Nevertheless, we expect this Gálkn: Monsters of the North haunted house to combine mythology, folklore, and gore to become a standout, high-intensity original at Halloween Horror Nights.
