According to WESH 2 News, the individual was found unresponsive after experiencing Stardust Racers, one of the park’s highly popular dual-launch coasters located in the Celestial Park area.

Update September 18: The man, 32-year-old Kevin Rodriguez Zavala, died as a result of multiple blunt impact injuries, according to the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office. Zavala was found unresponsive after riding Stardust Racers at Epic Universe on Wednesday night. At this point, the tragedy is being ruled as an accident. Also, Stardust Racers did not open today.

The guest was transported to Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. The report does not attribute the incident to any ride malfunction, and the cause of death has not yet been publicly confirmed.

A spokesperson for Universal Orlando has not issued a formal statement, and the investigation remains ongoing.
