This GEO-82 food review explores the latest culinary experience inside EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth—menu highlights, vibes, and must-try items.
On the opening weekend of Geo-82, we visited the Spaceship Earth lounge to try some of the food options available there. We went in with concerns about the experience and the premium prices. Would it be worth it? Since worth is subjective for dining at an upscale lounge, we focused on how most guests would feel visiting this location.

In March, Walt Disney World gave fans an update on the previously announced “Spaceship Earth Lounge.” During that announcement, Disney fans learned that the Geo-82 Epcot lounge will be exclusively for adults aged 21 and over. In late April, we learned that the official opening date is June 4. Along with that news, guests got a first glimpse of the Geo-82 menu. Additionally, a few days before the official opening of Geo-82, Walt Disney World released more information and photos of this special lounge.
Geo-82 Lounge Location

The “Spaceship Earth” lounge, as it was often referred to before we learned the name Geo-82, does not reside inside the large geodesic dome. However, it is very close. Located in the former AT&T/Siemens sponsor lounge, guests can access Geo-82 through Project Tomorrow, just before the west side exit doors. Project Tomorrow is the interactive games area that you walk through when you exit the Spaceship Earth attraction.
Waiting Area
Guests can take the elevator or stairs to the GEO-82 lounge. Once upstairs, a Walt Disney World cast member will greet you and invite you to relax in the waiting area as your table is prepared. The waiting area is comfortable and features digitally enhanced photos of Spaceship Earth, with fireworks added to historic pictures. Much of the artwork plays off the theme of fireworks. When we got off the elevator on the opening weekend, we received a cool wet towel to clean our hands. We do not know if this service will continue.
The interior is very warm and golden. This is intended to be a reference to the early concept art of Spaceship Earth, which depicted the geodesic dome bathed in golden light. Gold will be a recurring color theme throughout the space.

Once your table is ready, you will be guided through a curved hallway that leads to the GEO-82 dining area. The hallway features large triangular tiles similar to what you’d find on the exterior of Spaceship Earth. We were told that the tiles were authentic Alucobond tiles, the same style that covers the exterior of Spaceship Earth.
The lounge features numerous large glass windows, offering guests a view of the World Celebration area of Epcot. Opposite the windows resides the bar area. We were told that these bartenders came from upscale bars on the property, such as those at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
Geo-82 Food Review: Menu

The GEO-82 menu offers a limited selection of appetizer-style food options and a comprehensive drink menu. We visited to try some of the appetizers. Anyone looking at the menu will face a bit of sticker shock. Everything costs more than would be expected, even for an upscale theme park resort. The food options include:

- Cannellini Hummus | $14.00

Geo-82 Food Review: Our Dining Experience at Geo-82

Admittedly, we fail to be the target demographic for Geo-82. We rarely drink adult beverages and do not spend much time at bars, where cocktails often cost $25 or more. Despite that, we wanted to try the food options since that is what we do. Geo-82 stands as a premium experience. Those types of things come with higher pricing, especially at a theme park. This visit was about doing a Geo-82 food review. We had already spoken with trusted colleagues who only cover food about their visit. Based on that, we owned a decent idea of what to expect.
We checked in for our 3:10 advanced dining reservation around 3:02 p.m. We moved to the waiting area. After that, we were seated around 3:17 p.m. Our table had a nice view of Epcot. We gathered that this table would be one used for the upscale fireworks packages at Geo-82.

Our server told us that every food option at Geo-82 has been designed to pair well with the beverages. We can only confirm that Tom of Vacationeers Podcast whom we dined with enjoyed his Old Fashioned. During this visit, we ordered the Charcuterie Plate and the Cannellini Hummus.
Charcuterie Plate

Any Geo-82 food review should start with the Charcuterie Plate. We noticed that on the in-person menu, the elaborate name for this appetizer is shortened. This qualifies as the best charcuterie plate on Walt Disney World property.

The meat and cheese display high quality. Additionally, the flavors are unique compared to most charcuterie plates. The only question guests must ask is whether it is worth $29. Guests will not be disappointed with the flavors.

Geo-82 Food Review: Cannellini Hummus

This Geo-82 small bite confused us a bit. We enjoyed it. Still, we could not define all the flavors and components of the hummus. The pappadam crisps paired very well with hummus. However, they were skinny and broke easily, making the hummus more challenging to eat. The pumpkin seed pistou stars with this hummus. The combination of basil and garlic makes this non-traditional hummus a solid option. Well, as long as the pappadam crisps hold together. Additionally, our hummus had a small pepper with a subtle spicy kick that some guests should prepare for when ordering this.

Geo-82 Food Review: Final Thoughts
We entered Geo-82 with concerns over the price point for food and beverages. After dining, those concerns still exist. Geo-82 would be hard to recommend as a must-do for the food. After consulting with other people in our group, they told us the alcoholic beverages were good, but they also questioned the price point even by Walt Disney World standards.
Many people pay a high price for Walt Disney World character dining for the “experience.” Geo-82 qualifies as a place you dine at for the experience. Those who have dined at night for the fireworks have stated that it is nice. Still, they voiced concerns about the price point. Of course, those of us who are theme park fans spend money differently based on what we enjoy most.
Nevertheless, the food failed to impress us in the way it should for this upscale lounge. It was not bad, but guests do not visit here for the food.
