During the week of spooky announcements for Halloween Horror Nights 2025 Orlando, we have learned about two original houses, Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters, and Dolls: Let’s Play Dead. Additionally, we learned about El Artista: A Spanish Haunting from the HHN panel at Spooky Empire.
That leaves two more expected original houses for Halloween Horror Nights Orlando. Speculation indicated that by Friday afternoon of this week, we would know all the original houses. For that to happen, two more Halloween Horror Nights announcements needed to happen this week. Fitting a pattern consistent with the rumors, HHN fans got an announcement today about one of the original houses.
Halloween Horror Nights: Grave of Flesh
Universal Orlando Resort announced that Grave of Flesh with this description: “Welcome to your funeral, where things are about to go from bad to worse. You’ll enter your grave and then pass through the gates of the underworld, where flesh-eaters who feed on the dead will be waiting for you. Get lost in their cavernous underground world, where an endless gauntlet of flesh-eating creatures will hunt you mercilessly for all eternity.”
Of course, some confusion has arisen about the exact title of this new original HHN house. Is it “Grave of the Flesh” or “Grave of Flesh?” The promotional art says one thing, but the official announcement says something different. Either way, we should expect to see scary creatures from the underworld. For the record, Universal Orlando Resort confirmed that the proper title for this original Halloween Horror Nights house is “Grave of Flesh.”
Though details remain mostly under wraps, early speculation suggests this house may center around a creepy horror theme, possibly drawing inspiration from urban legends or twisted folklore. With Universal’s track record of crafting terrifyingly detailed environments and complex narratives for original houses, expectations should be high for this house.
