The month of August brings several Disney Springs dining updates. These include Wine Bar George, Chicken Guy!, Salt & Straw, Jock Lindsey’s, Sprinkles, and Gideon’s Bakehouse.

Wine Tasting

A new month means new menu items at Disney Springs restaurants. There are new cookies and cakes at Gideon’s Bakehouse. Salt & Straw is introducing a new series of ice cream flavors for Disney Springs guests in August. Based on pumpkin sightings, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar might be getting into the Halloween spirit early, even for Florida theme parks.

Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Bar?

All we know about Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar and falling pumpkins involves a social media post by Disney stating that “Something’s brewing at Disney Springs.” Some of the menu items for this Autumn theme have been released. They include:

  • Pumpkin Patch Old Fashioned
Maker’s Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Simple and Vanilla Syrups, Pumpkin Spice, and Angostura Bitters—served with an Ice Sphere
  • Spice Pear Potion
Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum, Pear Nectar, Lemon Juice, and Cinnamon Simple Syrup—garnished with a Cinnamon Stick
  • Creepy Mudslide
Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, and Vanilla Base—served in a Chocolate Syrup-drizzled glass and garnished with Whipped Cream, Gummy Candy, and Crushed Cookie pieces.

At the time of writing, we have word that Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Hangar Bar starts on August 19. Still, on July 31, Walt Disney World revealed a few photos of menu items coming to Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar.

Also, Flavors of Florida runs through August 10. In addition to all that, more changes have occurred regarding Disney Springs dining.

New Items at Chicken Guy!

The Disney Springs Chicken Guy location unveiled two new limited-time menu items. Guests can order the Honey Money Chicken Sandwich, a sandwich with the restaurant’s signature chicken topped with honey BBQ sauce. Additionally, a Key Lime Pie Milkshake has appeared on the Chicken Guy! menu for a season. Through August 10, guests can still buy the Flavors of Florida version of a key lime milkshake.

Halloween Disney Springs Dining

Pumpkin Pie Shake

Yes, we know it is barely August. Still, Halloween starts early in the Orlando area. In addition to the Jock Lindsey seasonal promotion, several other restaurants at Disney Springs have announced Halloween or Fall-themed menu items. For example:

  • Amorette’s Patisserie will have decadent desserts like the Jack Skellington Éclair, Madame Leota Petit Cake, and Amorette’s Wilting Rose
  • D-Luxe Burger will allow guests to Indulge in the Halloween spirit with the Pumpkin Pie Shake—Vanilla Gelato blended with Pumpkin Pie Mix, Caramel Sauce, Pumpkin Spice, and Graham Cracker Crumbles, topped with Whipped Cream and Pumpkin Spice.
  • Swirls on the Water will offer: a Maleficent Cone – Black Vanilla Cone filled with Pistachio and Purple Cheesecake Soft-Serve Swirl and Chocolate Horns, Pumpkin Smore’s Sundae – Soft-Serve Pumpkin and Toasted Marshmallow in a Waffle Bowl—topped with Chocolate Sauce, Graham Cracker Crumbs, and Halloween Quins, and a Vanilla Porter Float – Soft-Serve Pumpkin and Toasted Marshmallow mixed with Vanilla Porter.

Once again, we do not know when these Halloween-themed menu items will be available. Still, we suspect that the availability will coincide with other Halloween promotions at Walt Disney World.
