After giving us absolute radio silence on the announcement front for what felt like an eternity, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has suddenly gone into hyperdrive. We went from zero house announcements to dropping two in two days!
Does this mean the social media team is finally drinking their morning espresso? Are we getting a new house reveal every single day this week? Honestly, at this pace, by Friday they might just start announcing houses for 2027. We can only hope! Still, let us stay focused! Busch Gardens has officially announced the second house for the upcoming event, and it is Circus of Fear: Killer Encore.
Circus of Fear: Killer Encore – Did D.H. Baggum Get Fired… Permanently
If you remember previous events, we were introduced to the sinister ringmaster D.H. Baggum in D.H. Baggum’s Circus of Fear. He ran a decrepit big top filled with grotesque clowns, twisted sideshow performers, and spine-tingling illusions. Well, it turns out managing a circus of horrors has terrible job security.
According to the official Instagram announcement, D.H. Baggum made the fatal mistake of hiring an Italian opera singer named Vittorio Belladonna as his star attraction. Vittorio was a hit, but the applause was never enough for his inflated ego. Consumed by jealousy, madness, and a flair for dramatic flair-ups, Vittorio straight-up murdered Baggum and hijacked the entire circus!
Now, Vittorio and his army of crazed carnies are running the show. Their favorite new act? Hunting anyone foolish enough to walk under the big top and forcibly recruiting them into the performance. Talk about stage fright!
Reimagined, Remix, Repeat: The 2026 House Lineup Math

Circus of Fear: Killer Encore sounds like an absolute blast with a fantastic story progression, but this is another reimagined house for 2026. With five total haunted houses expected at the event, let’s look at where the lineup currently stands:

- Shadows of Wonderland is almost certainly returning to haunt us with a vengeful Queen of Hearts.
- Circus of Fear: Killer Encore is our newly “reimagined” sequel house for Howl-O-Scream.
- Stranglewood Estate: RePossed has been announced and is a reimagining of a classic house at the event.
If you are keeping score at home, that leaves us with almost all recycled or remixed concepts and only space for ONE potentially brand-new house for the entire Howl-O-Scream 2026 event. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is really squeezing every drop out of those existing sets. Still, Vittorio’s opera high-notes are loud enough, maybe we won’t even notice the recycled layout. Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a high-intensity Halloween event, transforming the theme park into a nightmarish realm of horror. Designed strictly for mature audiences, the separately ticketed evening event features immersive haunted houses, outdoor scare zones packed with roaming monsters, sinister live entertainment, and dark, night-time coaster rides.
Event Dates
Howl-O-Scream 2026 runs on select nights from September 11 through November 1, 2026. The screams begin at 7:00 PM and continue until park close, though ticket holders are permitted early access to the park starting at 5:00 PM.
