While Tropical Americas at Animal Kingdom was one of the most expected announcements for D23, it was good to hear Josh D’Amaro take this Blue Sky idea and make it a reality. Get ready for Indy and Encanto!
In one of the most surprising announcements at this past Saturday’s D23 Parks and Experiences showcase, Josh D’Amaro shared that a Monsters Inc. Land is coming to Hollywood Studios, including the long rumored and wished for door coaster, which will be Disney’s first ever suspended coaster.
Josh D’Amaro made good on some of the Blue Sky ideas presented 2 years ago including announcing an all new Villains Land at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World! And do I spy with my little eye a roller coaster?!
We got A LOT of amazing announcements out D23 this past weekend and additional details are already starting to emerge as Disney announces the new Cars Land will replace Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island and we finally know what is “beyond Big Thunder Mountain” in the way of Villains Land.
