A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow: The Ever-Changing Carousel of Progress

Disney has announced new updates coming to Carousel of Progress at Magic Kingdom, including refreshed scenes set in new decades featuring John, Sarah, and the rest of the family as they navigate evolving technology through the years. Imagineers say the goal is to make the attraction more relatable to today’s guests while preserving the nostalgic charm fans love, including the iconic “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” theme song. The refresh will also focus heavily on authentic details, practical effects, and decade-accurate props, music, fashion, and artwork throughout the attraction.
