We tried the Brisket Mac SeaWorld Orlando is serving at Bands, Brew & BBQ. Here’s our review—plus lanyard tips and seating advice!

Theme park food is a wild ride on its own—but when we saw Brisket Mac SeaWorld Orlando at the Bands, Brew & BBQ Festival, we knew we had to try it. Well, at least one person in our group knew they needed to try it. Some of us had already experienced a different BBQ mac & cheese dish during this festival, which was meh! Still, this weekend-only festival runs through August 24 and features live music, craft brews, and smoked meat dreams… all at SeaWorld Orlando.
We visited during what could only be described as theme park chaos: a hot, humid, heavily promoted weekend that attracted a crowd larger than a Shamu splash zone. Of course, we waited. We sweated. And eventually, we landed at Sideliners, one of the festival food booths near Voyager’s Smokehouse, ready to take on a bowl of BBQ mac that costs $12.99—of course, we did not pay that much.
The Secret Weapon: Sampler Lanyard Strategy

Here’s how to outsmart the festival pricing: the Sampler Lanyard.
- 5-item lanyard: $45
- 10-item lanyard: $65
- Passholders get 2 bonus samples on the 10-item lanyard
Pro tip: use your lanyard on high-priced items like the brisket mac. Save your cheaper beer samples and desserts for last. It’s like budgeting, but for smoked meat and cheese.
What’s in the Brisket Mac SeaWorld Orlando Bowl?

The official name of this festival dish is Three Cheese BBQ Brisket Mac & Cheese. According to the menu:
Creamy macaroni and cheese topped with our Smoked House Brisket.
And that’s exactly what you get. There are no surprises here, unless you count the mysterious inclusion of onions, which added… well, nothing. You could forget they were there—and honestly, we did until the last few bites.
The mac itself is average, creamy enough, but not going to win any culinary awards. The brisket, however, is a pleasant surprise. Smoky, tender, and well-portioned—this isn’t gas station BBQ. It’s actually good. Still, for theme park quick service, that’s saying something.
Festival Crowds & Seating Woes

Let’s be real: the food might be hot, but so is the competition for a seat. During our visit, the park was buzzing with promotions and people, and festival booths had longer-than-usual queues. Seating was hard to come by, unless you’re a wizard or willing to eat on top of a trash can. (We considered both.)
So here’s your survival plan:
- Send a scout for food, another for a table
- Consider balancing mac & cheese on your lap like an Olympic sport
- Depending on the festivcal location, there might be an indoor quick service dining option nearby
Final Verdict: Is Brisket Mac SeaWorld Orlando Worth It?

If you’re using the Sampler Lanyard, the Brisket Mac SeaWorld Orlando is a solid value and one of the better BBQ options at the festival. The brisket quality stands out, even if the mac itself is basic and the onions are just decorative guests.
Without the lanyard? $12.99 feels steep for a bowl of creamy carbs, even with meat on top. Still, if you’re hungry, stuck in line, and already smell like smoke from the grill—you’re halfway committed anyway.
