A terrifying new scare zone has just been announced for HHN 2025, adding even more chills to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights lineup. Additionally, the rumor of zombies at Mel’s Die-In for Halloween Horror Nights has some teeth!

HHN 2025

A brand-new scare zone has been announced for Halloween Horror Nights 2025 at Universal Orlando, joining the other scare zones revealed earlier this week. While details remain scarce, the new area promises a chilling atmosphere and a completely different tone from the previously announced zones. Halloween Horror Nights speculation suggested that this fifth HHN scare zone would be a type of party zone.

HHN 2025 Orlando Latest Scare Zone Announcement

Following the pattern of this scare zone announcement week, Halloween Horror Nights revealed another of the five scare zones (sort of) for the 2025 event in Orlando. The short description for this unique HHN 2025 feature reads, “Brave all-new street experiences that take the horror to new heights — featuring zombie carhops, undead DJs.” More details are coming soon according to Universal Orlando.

This looks to confirm the rumors that the San Francisco area scare zone will be a party zone with undead DJs. Also, the rumor of zombies on roller skates looks to be happening at Mel’s Die-In (Mel’s Drive-In) during HHN 2025.

With this latest reveal, Halloween Horror Nights Orlando continues to build a diverse and immersive experience that balances familiar scares with original nightmares. The event runs select nights from August 29 through November 2, with ten haunted houses and five scare zones.

Before today, Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) Orlando has announced four scare zones for 2025. These are:

Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights 2025 returns to Universal Studios Florida for its longest run yet, taking place on select nights from August 29 through November 2. This year’s event promises an all-new level of fear with five highly immersive scare zones, chilling live entertainment, exclusive themed food and drinks, and special merchandise. For those seeking extra thrills, optional upgrades like Express Passes, RIP Tours, and the Unmasking the Horror tour offer even more terrifying fun. A special Premium Scream Night kicks things off on August 28 for a limited number of fans. HHN 2025 is set to be Orlando’s top fall fright event. Halloween Horror Nights tickets are available at https://www.universalorlando.com/hhn/en/us/tickets.

As Universal keeps the final details under wraps, one thing is certain—this new scare zone (and the event overall)will be waiting in the dark, watching, and ready to welcome those who dare step inside. Stay alert. Not everything is what it seems at HHN 2025.
