Red Lobster’s October Lineup Has $1 Appetizers, Late Night Happy Hour, OLD BAY Endless Shrimp and Kids Eat Free

Red Lobster October Deals bring $1 appetizers Oct. 9 to 12, Late Night Happy Hour, OLD BAY Endless Shrimp and kids eat free on Halloween weekend.
Red Lobster is packing October with reasons to sit in a booth and leave smelling like garlic butter. The chain just announced its Red Lobster October Deals, and the first one kicks off today, with four days of $1 appetizers. From there it adds a Late Night Happy Hour, a new Endless Shrimp flavor and a Halloween weekend where kids in costume eat free.
“We want guests to have more reasons to say yes to Red Lobster when they’re getting together,” said Andy Pitts, Chief Marketing Officer at Red Lobster. “This October, that means more value and choice, with some fun built in, all centered on the food, flavor and hospitality they expect from us.”
Four promotions, four sets of fine print, and one very busy Monday. Here is everything you need to know.
| Offer | When | The Short Version |
| $1 Appetizers | Oct. 9 to 12 | One $1 appetizer per entrée, dine in only, U.S. restaurants |
| Late Night Happy Hour | Starts Oct. 12 | 9 p.m. to close, Monday through Friday, participating locations |
| OLD BAY Seasoned Scampi | Starts Oct. 12 | New Endless Shrimp flavor, $24.99 at most participating locations |
| Kids Eat Free | Oct. 30 to Nov. 1 | Costume required to dine in, promo code SPOOKY26 for To Go, U.S. and Canada |
$1 Appetizers Kick Off the Long Weekend (Oct. 9 to 12)

From Friday, Oct. 9 through Monday, Oct. 12, guests dining in at Red Lobster restaurants across the U.S. can add a $1 individually sized appetizer to any entrée. You get three choices:
- Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp: Three jumbo coconut shrimp, breaded by hand, served with piña colada sauce.
- Shrimp Cocktail: Four premium jumbo shrimp served with cocktail sauce.
- Mozzarella Cheesesticks: Four mozzarella sticks served with marinara sauce.
The catch, because there is always a catch, is that the deal is one $1 appetizer per entrée purchased, it is dine in only, and it cannot be combined with any Red Lobster Nation offer or reward. In other words, a table of four ordering four entrées can start with four $1 appetizers, and the coconut shrimp budget becomes delightfully unhinged. Red Lobster did not list regular menu prices for these appetizers in the announcement, but three jumbo coconut shrimp for a buck is hard to complain about.
Late Night Happy Hour Arrives Oct. 12

Happy Hour is staying up past its bedtime. Starting Monday, Oct. 12, Red Lobster adds a Late Night Happy Hour from 9 p.m. to close, Monday through Friday at participating locations. It sits alongside the traditional weekday Happy Hour from 3 to 6 p.m.
During both windows, guests can get $6 signature cocktails, wine and beer, plus $2 off select starters. Red Lobster highlights these favorites:
- Long Island Iced Tea and Classic Margarita for drinks
- Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms, Lobster Flatbread, Crab Queso and Lobster Dip for starters
There is also a limited-time seasonal drink worth a look. The Fire & Tide Margarita is $6 during Happy Hour and combines Cuervo Tradicional Blanco Tequila with Fireball Whisky. You can Make It Mega for an extra $3. Tequila and cinnamon whisky is a bold pairing, so consider yourself warned, and maybe order a Crab Queso for moral support.
Check before you go: Beverage offers are not valid in several locations. Red Lobster lists specific restaurants in Georgia (Buford, Canton, Columbus, Duluth, Gainesville, Kennesaw, Newnan and Rome), plus North Carolina, Oklahoma and Utah. South Carolina only gets the offer Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. where permitted. Prices also exclude tax and gratuity, and the deal is dine in only.
Red Lobster October Deals: OLD BAY Seasoned Scampi Joins Endless Shrimp

Endless Shrimp is sticking around for a limited time, and starting Oct. 12, The new OLD BAY Seasoned Scampi joins the U.S. lineup. That is the iconic seafood seasoning showing up where it feels most at home.
Endless Shrimp is priced at $24.99 at most participating locations. For that, you mix and match six flavors throughout the meal, with your choice of one side and Cheddar Bay Biscuits. The full lineup includes:
- New OLD BAY Seasoned Scampi
- Garlic Bread Crusted Shrimp
- Shrimp Linguini Alfredo
- Garlic Shrimp Scampi
- Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp
- Walt’s Favorite Shrimp
We have questions about who Walt is and why he earned an entire flavor (no relation to the Walt we usually cover here, as far as we know), but we respect the commitment. SPOILER: We do know this dish is named after Walt King, one of the restaurant’s very first employees and a 35-year company veteran.
Consumer note: Price and participation may vary by location, shrimp flavors are subject to availability, and the fine print says Endless Shrimp is not available on holidays or for To Go, catering or delivery. Monday, Oct. 12 is a holiday on many calendars, so if you are planning an Oct. 12 shrimp run, call your local Red Lobster first.
Kids Eat Free on Halloween Weekend (Oct. 30 to Nov. 1)
Red Lobster wraps up the month with a treat for families. From Friday, Oct. 30 through Sunday, Nov. 1, families in the U.S. and Canada can get free kids meals with the purchase of a full price adult entrée.
- Dine in: One full price adult entrée covers up to two free kids meals when the kids are dressed in costume.
- To Go: Order online with promo code SPOOKY26 and get one free kids meal with one full price adult entrée.
Red Lobster also invites guests to share a picture on social, and you might be surprised with some treats (never tricks). Still, there are a few rules. Dine in is limited to two free kids meals per table, the maximum discount is $9.99 per free kids meal, and restaurant personnel decide whether a costume qualifies, at their sole discretion. Third-party mediaDine-in is limited to two free kids’ meals per table, the maximum discount is $9.99 per free kids’ meal, and restaurant personnel decide whether a costume qualifies delivery and catering do not count. Our advice: make the costume unmistakable. A hoodie that is “kind of a cape” may not survive the judges.
Considering One of the Red Lobster October Deals?
The best value here is the one with the shortest window. A $1 appetizer on top of an entrée is a real discount, but it ends Monday, Oct. 12. Late Night Happy Hour is the most useful long term addition for anyone who eats dinner after the rest of the world has gone home, as long as your local restaurant participates. And if you are an Endless Shrimp fan, OLD BAY Seasoned Scampi is the flavor most likely to start a friendly argument at the table.
Monday, Oct. 12 deserves a calendar reminder. It is the last day of $1 appetizers, the first day of OLD BAY Seasoned Scampi and the first Late Night Happy Hour. As always, offers vary by location, so check RedLobster.com for hours, menus and participating restaurants before you go.
