Sip Craft Beer Under the Sea at Sea Life Orlando’s New Fins and Flights Event
Sea Life Orlando is hosting Fins and Flights, a unique after-hours event for adults featuring local craft breweries and marine animal exhibits.
Following the success of family-friendly seasonal events like the jaw-some Summer of Sharks and the highly immersive Meet a Mermaid experiences (which proved popular when the mermaid event returned to Orlando), Sea Life Orlando Aquarium is diving into a new adventure geared entirely toward adults. This September, Sea Life Orlando Aquarium is inviting guests to experience the aquarium like never before during Fins & Flights, an adults-only, after-hours event pairing local craft beer tastings with an immersive evening among thousands of sea animals.
Fins and Flights at Sea Life Orlando
Taking place Sept. 3-5 from 7-10 p.m., the experience invites guests ages 21 and older to explore the aquarium after dark while sampling beers from Central Florida’s breweries and beyond. Along the way, guests can encounter sharks, turtles, rays, axolotls, seahorses and more. Admission includes five 4-ounce beer samples, with one selection from each participating brewery, along with a commemorative Fins and Flights souvenir tasting glass. “Fins & Flights offers guests a unique way to experience SEA LIFE Orlando by pairing the wonder of the aquarium with the creativity of Central Florida’s craft brewery scene,” said Paul Gould, general manager of Sea Life Orlando Aquarium. “Whether guests are discovering sea animals from a new perspective or enjoying a night out with friends, it’s an unforgettable evening unlike any other in Orlando.”
Tickets are $59.99 per person when purchased in person or $54.99 per person when purchased online in advance. A designated-driver ticket is available for $20 and includes aquarium admission only. Designated drivers will not receive beer samples or be permitted to purchase alcohol. All attendees, including designated drivers, must be 21 or older and present valid identification upon arrival.
Guests can select from five entry times each evening at 7, 7:30, 8, 8:30 or 9 p.m. Each time slot is limited to 100 guests to allow for a relaxed and uncrowded viewing experience. Additional purchases include three beer-sample tickets for $10 or one full-size can of beer for $10.
