Fortnitemares is Fortnite’s annual Halloween celebration, introducing spooky themes, special characters, limited-time experiences, and seasonal content for players. Now, that Halloween atmosphere will come to life as an immersive scare zone at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando. Guests visiting Universal Studios Florida during HHN 2026 will be transported into a world inspired by the eerie side of Fortnite, where familiar elements from the game’s Halloween events will be reimagined through the lens of Halloween Horror Nights.

The scare zone will combine the creativity and colorful style of Fortnite with the immersive environments, lighting, sound, and scare actors that have made Halloween Horror Nights one of the world’s premier Halloween events. While Fortnite is known for its playful and over-the-top style, Fortnitemares offers an opportunity to explore a darker side of the game. Halloween Horror Nights will transform that seasonal celebration into an experience designed for guests looking for unexpected scares throughout the night.

Over the years, Halloween Horror Nights has featured numerous collaborations with movies, television series, and popular entertainment properties. The addition of Fortnitemares expands the event’s reach into the world of gaming, bringing one of the most recognizable video game franchises in the world to Universal Orlando. Video game-inspired attractions and experiences have become increasingly popular among theme park fans, and Fortnitemares represents a unique opportunity to blend interactive entertainment with the immersive storytelling that defines Halloween Horror Nights.

Unlike a haunted house, the Fortnitemares scare zone will allow guests to experience the environment as they explore Universal Studios Florida during the event. Scare zones provide a different type of Halloween Horror Nights experience, with surprises waiting throughout the area instead of a single walkthrough path.
