Located near Disney Traders in World Discovery, the Fictional Victuals Food Studio is a standout at the 2026 Epcot International Festival of the Arts. This year, the booth has traded its deep-sea exploration for a trip down the rabbit hole with a whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme.

While last year’s menu was famously inspired by 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, featuring dark, oceanic aesthetics like Squid Ink Pasta and Charred Octopus, the 2026 iteration is much more vibrant and eccentric. The transition from the industrial, Jules Verne-inspired “Nautilus” vibe to the floral and nonsensical world of Lewis Carroll is reflected perfectly in the new menu “Chapters.”

Chapter 1: Beach Oysters – This nod to The Walrus and the Carpenter, serves as a sophisticated start. The mustard seed-peppercorn sabayon, a savory, airy, and creamy foam-like sauce, provides a light, airy kick that contrasts with the savory creamed spinach. It’s a refined dish that bridges the gap between the seaside and the surreal.

For $7.99, this makes a great Epcot festival value when factoring in the portion size of the oysters. For those concerned about the taste of oysters, the dominant flavors of this item are the spinach and sabayon.

Chapter 2: Plate of Impossible Bites

This dish captures the “Mad Hatter” energy of the booth. The roasted turkey breast is paired with an incredible onion-and-bacon custard tart, light-brown-butter, sweet-and-savory blend, rich and smoky. The “impossible” nature comes from the toppings: a tart cherry gel, sweet pineapple-toffee butter, and a light brown butter toast. It makes a delicious combination of sweet and savory that feels like a tea party on a plate.

We were most impressed with the turkey. This Mad Hatter-themed Epcot festival item has a lot going on. Most guests will enjoy it, especially at $7.49. Still, the picky eater and those with texture issues may find this Epcot festival offering on the Fictional Victuals menu to simply be too much. They might think “Yes, yes but you would have to be half-mad to dream me up.”

Chapter 3: Tea Treat

The finale is a literal tea party. The Twinings Earl Grey Tea Treat Chocolate Pot de Crème is silky and fragrant with bergamot. It’s served with a zesty lemon madeleine, a dollop of rose and raspberry jam, and a tea biscuit crumble. It’s much lighter and more floral than last year’s heavy Black Cocoa Brownie, perfectly fitting the Wonderland aesthetic with this Fictional Victuals menu item, which costs $5.99.

Unlike the first two “chapters,” we only had this item once, and our group wolfed it. Overall, this Fictional Victuals menu item offers an excellent example of an “artsy-looking” item. The Earl Grey component enhances the chocolate keeping it from being the only flavor guests receive. Complementing the custard is a buttery lemon madeleine and a bright rose and raspberry jam. The jam is the sleeper hit of the dish, providing a “tart bloom” that cuts through the creaminess. A tea biscuit crumble adds a necessary crunch, rounding out a texture profile that is far more complex than your standard theme park pudding. While the “half-cup” presentation is a delightful nod to the Mad Hatter, the flavors are serious business.

Whether you are a fan of the classic Lewis Carroll tale or just a hungry traveler, the Fictional Victuals Menu is a triumph of creativity and flavor. By moving away from the dark, briny depths of last year’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea theme and into the whimsical, vibrant world of Alice in Wonderland, Epcot has created a dining experience that is as visually stunning as it is delicious. The “Plate of Impossible Bites” is a must-try for those seeking the most unique flavors of the 2026 Festival of the Arts.

Make sure to stop by this Food Studio near Disney Traders before your journey through World Discovery ends. It is truly the “Golden Afternoon” of theme park festival snacks. The 2026 Epcot International Festival of the Arts runs daily through February 23, 2026.
