Our Waterway Grill SeaWorld Orlando review covers the surprisingly excellent Slow-Roasted Pork entrée we tried with the All-Day Dining Plan.

When it comes to theme park quick-service dining, consistency can be hit or miss, especially with All-Day Dining. Still, on our latest visit to Waterway Grill SeaWorld Orlando, we discovered a standout entrée that became the unexpected highlight of our entire day: the Slow Roasted Pork.
Dining With the All-Day Dining Plan

We visited Waterway Grill SeaWorld Orlando using the All-Day Dining Plan, which lets guests pick up one entrée, one side or dessert, and one fountain beverage every 90 minutes. While the Slow Roasted Smoked Pork costs $21.99 when purchased à la carte, our discounted All-Day Dining plan totaled around $30, making this meal an excellent value. Regular price for SeaWorld Orlando All-Day Dining is $59.99. Along with the entrée, we selected a cupcake for dessert and a refreshing fountain drink, which are included with the dining program.

Menu Description – Slow Roasted Smoked Pork

SeaWorld Orlando describes the dish as:
“Marinated in tropical mojo citrus juice served with black beans and cilantro rice.”
It sounds simple, but at Waterway Grill SeaWorld Orlando, this combination turned into one of the most flavorful quick-service meals we’ve had there.
Waterway Grill SeaWorld Orlando: First Impressions

Our past visits to Waterway Grill SeaWorld Orlando have ranged from pleasantly surprising to noticeably underwhelming. However, typically, All-Day Dining food later in the day trends downward in quality. That’s why we were shocked to receive this entrée warm, aromatic, and clearly fresh. The smell alone hinted that this would be a step above the average quick-service dish.
Flavor & Portion Size

The Slow Roasted Smoked Pork delivered excellent flavor for a fast-casual meal. The tropical mojo citrus marinade gave the pork a bright, seasoned taste and kept the meat tender without being greasy or overly salty.
The accompanying black beans and cilantro rice paired beautifully with the pork, hearty, flavorful, and not overcooked. For a quick-service portion, SeaWorld provided a generous serving of pork, particularly impressive considering we ordered it late in the day through All-Day Dining. At a point in an All-Day Dining Plan adventure where the food wall might be growing, this entree served as an excellent SeaWorld final meal of the day.
A Rare Late-Day Win

Anyone who has used SeaWorld’s All-Day Dining Plan knows that quality can dip toward park close. But at Waterway Grill SeaWorld Orlando, the opposite happened. This late-day meal tasted fresh, balanced, and — most importantly — worth returning for. Given our previous mixed experiences here, this dish truly stood out as one of the best All-Day Dining entrees we’ve tried at SeaWorld Orlando. In fairness, some of the higher-priced quick-service entrees are not available as part of the All-Day Dining Plan. Nonetheless, we have ordered most of those excluded entrees. They would fall below this dining experience.
Waterway Grill SeaWorld Orlando
The Slow Roasted Smoked Pork at Waterway Grill SeaWorld Orlando, exceeded every expectation. After several inconsistent meals at this location, this entrée has completely renewed our interest in what Waterway Grill can offer. Whether you’re using the All-Day Dining Plan or paying à la carte, this pork dish is absolutely worth adding to your SeaWorld dining list.
We’re already looking forward to ordering it again on a future visit. Additionally, for more theme park dining reviews, visit MSM News every weekday at noon Eastern Time. As always, eat like you mean it!
