Sample the food, but keep your expectations in check. This Epcot Italy booth review looks at the Bacetti ‘Kisses’ di Pizza, one of the featured items at the 2025 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The festival runs through November 22, 2025, and we stopped by to see if Italy finally redeemed its reputation.

Epcot Italy Booth Review: A Closer Look at the Epcot Food and Wine Booth

For many seasoned Walt Disney World visitors, the Epcot Italy booth has a certain notorious charm. Despite its promising descriptions, it often lands among the festival’s least impressive booths. Still, curiosity wins, and guests return year after year, hoping for a surprise. This year’s star: Bacetti ‘Kisses’ di Pizza, described as “Traditional Napoli Street Food.” There is also a Tortellini alla Vodka, which would suggest skipping at this point, and an average dessert, Chocolate Spuma.

So, how did it measure up? Our Epcot Italy booth review included three different groups sampling this dish. What we discovered was surprising: the quality of preparation varied greatly depending on when and where the order was placed. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the quality of preparation if you order this.

At $8.75, guests receive something that resembles a cinnamon roll, but with savory components. Across our three groups, the experiences ranged from “not bad” to “why did we order this again?”

  • Texture: Most samples had a harder outer layer of pizza dough with a much softer, pillowy inside. The contrast gave the impression of an Italian-inspired savory cinnamon roll.
  • Pepperoni & Cheese: In most cases, the filling included a decent mix of pepperoni and mozzarella. The pepperoni added a nice touch of spice, but overall, the dish desperately needed more cheese to balance everything.
  • Sauce: The tomato sauce worked well. It was tangy and flavorful enough, tying the components together without overpowering the bite.

Still, inconsistency was the keyword. Some groups got a better balance of ingredients than others. Additionally, some dough batches were clearly more rushed than others. Overall, this Epcot Italy booth review lands somewhere in the middle. It’s not a disaster, but it isn’t a must-have either.

Why Guests Keep Hoping for More

Epcot Italy Booth Review

Festival-goers dream of rich pasta, creamy gelato, or pizza that sings with flavor. Instead, the Italy booth often delivers adequacy. This dish came closer than some past offerings, but the uneven prep and lack of gooey cheese left it short of greatness. Still, hope springs eternal. Maybe next year the booth will deliver something spectacular. Until then, this Epcot Italy booth review suggests keeping expectations realistic.
