Explore Zagora Café Busch Gardens, where comfort food meets convenience. Full menu, tips, and review of the new gyro plate inside.

Located in the Morocco-themed entrance area of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Zagora Café offers a casual, counter‑service dining option ideal for families, thrill‑seekers, and anyone in need of a quick bite between adventures. This is one of the first eateries guests encounter upon entering the theme park. The café provides a blend of covered and open-air seating, large umbrella‑shaded tables, and a spacious layout. This can be ideal for those midday breaks or late-night snacks, as it often stays open until the park closes.
Zagora Café Busch Gardens Menu

Zagora Café’s offerings primarily feature classic American comfort food. Key items include:
- Bacon Cheeseburgers, Plant-Based Burgers, and Grilled Chicken Sandwiches—all served with seasoned fries
- Chicken Tenders, garden salads, and mozzarella sticks.
- Desserts like cheesecake, cupcakes, cookies, and seasonal fruit
- Beverages range from fountain sodas and iced teas to bottled water and coffee.
Despite being in the Moroccan section, the menu doesn’t reflect much Moroccan cuisine, favoring straightforward, universally appealing fare.
All-Day Dining Plan at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Located in the Morocco area, Zagora Café Busch Gardens is ideal for guests using the All-Day Dining Plan. Unlike Toma at Orang Café and Tot Topia, Zagora Café participates in the All-Day Dining Plan. Guests on this plan can enjoy a full entrée, side or dessert, and drink every 90 minutes. This place opens earliest (usually 10:30 a.m.) among the dining options at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Thus, it makes a solid choice to start the timer on All-Day Dining.
This provided the main reason we visited Zagora Café during our latest visit to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. While not the most unique in terms of cuisine, Zagora Café excels in offering accessible, family-friendly options. It is particularly appealing for visitors seeking quick and reliable food without having to wander far. Its location, menu variety, inclusion in the All-Day Dining Deal, and extended hours make it a smart stop during a full day at Busch Gardens.

However, Zagora Café often opens late. Based on this, a queue may develop in the mornings as guests attempt to use their All-Day Dining Plan. We experienced that when Zagora Café opened at 10:40 a.m. that day.
During a recent visit to Zagora Café, we noticed some changes to the menu options. At the time of writing, a new menu item is available for sale at Zagora Café, but it has not yet been added to the online menu.
Zagora Café Gyro Plate – $17.79

This new-ish item, the Gyro Plate, aligns perfectly with the theme of Zagora Café. The menu description seen inside Zagora Café reads, “Traditional Gyro served with a side of Hummus, Carrot & Celery Sticks.” The new gyro plate at Zagora Café Busch Gardens adds a Mediterranean twist to an otherwise classic American menu.
On the day we visited, we did not receive the hummus and vegetables. Based on that, our impression of this gyro plate initially was that it did not offer good value. We still have concerns about the value with the hummus and vegetables, but far less.

The components of the gyro are decent in quality. Still, the pita does not hold up well. Despite that, the gyro meat provides above-average theme park quality.
We appreciate having a non-traditional theme park menu item. As a result, this might not remain on the menu for long, since most theme park visitors prefer straightforward food options like burgers, chicken tenders, and pizza. If sales of the gyro plate fail to meet the desired goals, it will be removed from the Zagora Café menu.
Caramel Cheesecake at Zagora Café Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

With our gyro plate, we also purchased a serving of caramel cheesecake. This qualifies as an elevated theme park cheesecake. The toppings were an improvement over standard quick-service cheesecake. This also enhances the texture and pairs well with caramel sauce.
The specialty cheesecakes at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, like this one, cost $9.99. That price point looks high compared to theme parks in the Orlando area. On this day, we used a dining credit to purchase it, so we didn’t feel that pain.

Overall, Zagora Café made a decent stop for dining on our day at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The price points are concerning. However, this makes an excellent spot for the All-Day Dining Plan. The return of a non-traditional entrée also makes this place look more appealing. If you visit and order the Gyro Plate, make sure you get a side of hummus and vegetable sticks.
