Walt Disney World Raises Select Ticket and Annual Pass Prices

A little extra room in the Disney budget may be in order. Walt Disney World is increasing prices on select single-day tickets and all four Annual Pass tiers, along with the highest prices for some Lightning Lane options.
The good news? The lowest-priced single-day ticket is staying put, and multiday ticket prices are unchanged. Here’s a breakdown of the changes, with all prices listed before tax.
Single-Day Tickets Reach a New High
Walt Disney World’s lowest-priced one-day ticket remains $119, keeping the starting price unchanged for guests visiting on select dates.
At the other end of the calendar, the highest-priced one-day ticket is now $229 for the 2027 holiday season, up $10 from the previous maximum of $219. That new peak price currently applies only to Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
If your holiday wish list includes castle views and festive fireworks on those dates, you’ll want to factor that increase into your plans.
Multiday Ticket Prices Stay the Same
For guests planning a longer visit, there’s some welcome news: Walt Disney World is not increasing multiday ticket prices as part of this update.
While select single-day visits are getting more expensive, this announcement leaves multiday ticket pricing unchanged. That’s one less adjustment to make while figuring out how many park days your vacation needs—and how many snack stops fit between them.
All Four Annual Passes Get Price Increases
Annual Pass prices are rising by $10 to $120, depending on the pass.
| Annual Pass | Previous Price | New Price | Increase |
|---|---|---|---|
| Disney Pixie Dust Pass | $489 | $499 | $10 |
| Disney Pirate Pass | $869 | $909 | $40 |
| Disney Sorcerer Pass | $1,099 | $1,139 | $40 |
| Disney Incredi-Pass | $1,629 | $1,749 | $120 |
The Pixie Dust Pass has the smallest increase at $10, while the Incredi-Pass sees the largest jump at $120.
For anyone considering a pass, these new prices are another piece of the puzzle alongside eligibility, blockout dates, and how often you plan to visit.
What’s Changing With Lightning Lane?
The Lightning Lane updates are a mixed bag:
- Lightning Lane Multi Pass: Pricing remains unchanged.
- Lightning Lane Single Pass: Maximum prices are increasing by $1 to $3, depending on the attraction and date.
- Lightning Lane Premier Pass: Maximum prices are increasing by $50 on the highest-demand days across all four parks.
Those increases apply to pricing ceilings, so they don’t mean every attraction or every date will cost more by those amounts.
Parking prices are also unchanged.
Disney’s Approach to Value Dates
Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference on September 9, Disney CFO Hugh Johnston said the company is “super sensitive” to keeping ticket prices relatively low during value periods “so that we can actually encourage those young families to come in.”
The unchanged $119 starting price fits that approach, even as the most expensive dates climb higher.
What This Means for Your Next Trip
The impact on your budget will depend on when you visit, which tickets you purchase, and whether you add Lightning Lane access. Guests buying Annual Passes or visiting on the highest-priced holiday dates will see increases, while those purchasing multiday tickets won’t see a ticket-price increase from this update.
If your dates are flexible, comparing prices across the calendar remains a useful part of planning. A little calendar homework could leave more room in the budget for the really important decisions—like which Mickey-shaped snack comes first.
