We visited Universal Studios Florida theme park. Several changes have occurred since our last visit. This photo report covers many of these changes.

On June 11, we visited Universal Studios Florida theme park for the afternoon and evening. Several things have changed since our last visit to this theme park. This article aims to serve as a photo report of the day.
Several additions have been made to the “Jaws” 50th Anniversary Tribute in the San Francisco area of Universal Studios Florida. For example, some more props have been added to the area.

The San Francisco Candy Company went through a transformation in honor of “Jaws” 50th celebration.

This innocent candy store has become a mini-Tribute store for the summer. It contains “Jaws” props and merchandise. It also plays a loop commemorating the original Jaws attraction at Universal Studios Florida.

In addition to this “Jaws” merchandise, the main Universal Studios Store at the front of the theme park has “Jaws” merchandise as well.

Several food and beverage booths have been added to the San Francisco area of the theme park. Also, as you can see, a thunderstorm rolled in during our visit.

Chez Alcatraz

Chex Alcatraz, a longtime fixture in the San Francisco area, may have a special beverage for guests to try. We hear Golden Shark alcoholic beverage offers a tribute to “Jaws.”
Mega Movie Parade

The “Mega Movie Parade” has been running daily at 2:00 p.m. at Universal Studios Florida. Universal Studios Florida’s “Mega Movie Parade” is a high-energy celebration that brings some of the most iconic characters and blockbuster films to life in an unforgettable way. Debuting in summer 2024, this vibrant parade is Universal’s biggest-ever, featuring massive floats, incredible performances, and interactive elements that immerse guests in cinematic magic.

The “Mega Movie Parade” showcases beloved franchises like “Ghostbusters,””Jurassic World,””Minions,””Trolls,” and “Back to the Future.” Each float is meticulously crafted, transporting fans directly into scenes from these legendary films. Expect to see Ghostbusters battling ghosts in real time, raptors from Jurassic World on the prowl, and the DeLorean zipping through time.

Perfect for movie buffs and families alike, the “Mega Movie Parade” adds another must-see experience to a day at Universal Studios Florida. Whether you’re snapping photos or dancing along with the characters, this parade captures the spirit of Universal’s film legacy like never before.
Universal Studios Florida Construction
Orlando area theme parks are in a constant state of change. Universal Studios Florida has two construction zones that interest us. The former Amity restrooms have constructions walls around them.

However, the more exciting construction walls can be found in the New York area of Universal Studios Florida. Universal Orlando Resort announced the official closing date for Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. It closes for good at the end of the theme park day on August 18. With that announcement, some construction walls went up near the facade of the fire station and the New York Library. Both of those draw inspiration from the “Ghostbusters” movie. Along the construction wall in question, a sign tells guests that a fire station is being restored. Many sources have concluded this means a “Ghostbusters” attraction is replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.

Universal Orlando Resort has made no official statement regarding the replacement for Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.
