The Trio de Pintxos Epcot Food and Wine brings three iconic Spanish appetizers together. Read our review to find out if this $7.25 sampler is worth it.

The Spain Global Marketplace has returned to the 2025 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival with a brand-new offering: the Trio de Pintxos. Priced at $7.25, this sampler brings together three classic Spanish appetizers, jamón croqueta, pan con tomate, and tortilla española, into one festival-friendly plate.
What Are These Spanish Favorites?
Each of the pintxos included in this trio has deep roots in Spanish cuisine.
- Jamón Croqueta: These small, breaded and fried bites are usually filled with a creamy béchamel mixture and also bits of jamón (Spanish cured ham). They are a staple of tapas culture, often found in bars across Spain.
- Pan con Tomate: A Catalonian favorite, this simple but beloved dish consists of rustic bread rubbed with fresh tomato, drizzled with olive oil, and sprinkled with salt. Its strength lies in high-quality, fresh ingredients.
- Tortilla Española: Perhaps one of Spain’s most iconic comfort foods, this hearty omelet is made with potatoes, onions, and eggs. Served hot or cold, it’s often enjoyed as a snack, light meal, or tapa
Our Thoughts on the Trio de Pintxos

While the concept of bringing three iconic Spanish tapas together in one dish is exciting, the execution fell short for us. The Jamón Croquetas were lacking the distinct salty, savory punch of jamón, resulting in a flavor profile that felt more bland than authentic. The Pan con Tomate also missed the mark; instead of delivering a bright, tomato-forward bite, it leaned flat and underwhelming. As for the Tortilla Española, it performed the best of the trio but still didn’t shine. This potato-and-egg dish was fine, but it didn’t stand out among the many flavorful festival offerings.
Trio de Pintxos Epcot Food and Wine

The Trio de Pintxos Epcot Food and Wine Festival offering is a fun idea that allows guests to sample three different staples of Spanish food culture, but it ultimately doesn’t live up to its potential. At $7.25, it’s a safe option for those wanting variety, but flavor seekers may want to look elsewhere at the festival. Spain’s Global Marketplace has delivered stronger hits in past years, and this one may leave fans of authentic tapas craving more.
