The Tex-Mex Burger City Works officially joins the everyday menu starting Feb. 4, bringing bold flavors, generous fries, and solid value to Disney Springs with over 30 new menu items.

City Works Eatery & Pour House is giving guests even more reason to stop by Disney Springs. Starting Feb. 4, the Tex-Mex Burger officially becomes part of the everyday menu, joining more than 30 new menu items rolling out across the restaurant. Some of the former Chef Selects Menu items have been promoted to the everyday lineup, like Campfire Fried Ice Cream. Also, the Crab Rangoon Mozzarella Sticks join the regular menu on February 4, 2026.

We stopped in to try the burger ahead of its full-time debut, and here’s how it stacked up.

What Comes on the Tex-Mex Burger City Works?

Tex-Mex Burger | $21.45
Avocado mash, corn and black bean relish, shredded iceberg lettuce, tortilla strips, pepper jack cheese sauce, and house fries.
Right out of the gate, portion-wise, City Works delivers where it matters most for Disney Springs dining. We got plenty of fries. We joked that we also got a full-on ketchup ration with this one—and honestly, that’s never a bad thing.
First Impressions

Visually, the burger looked slightly smaller than some of City Works’ other burgers, but it was still well assembled and sturdy enough to hold together, at least at first. With tortilla strips, relish, and avocado mash piled high, this is definitely a burger with mess potential, so napkins are your friend. Also, the toppings feel like mini nachos sitting on top of a burger patty, which is both the highlight and the challenge of this dish.
Flavor & Execution
The patty itself was well prepared and cooked nicely. Still, with so many toppings competing for attention, the beef can occasionally get overshadowed. That’s not necessarily a deal-breaker. It just means this burger is more about the overall Tex-Mex experience than showcasing the patty alone.
Interestingly, while the pepper jack cheese sauce adds creaminess, it wasn’t as bold or robust as you might expect from a nacho-inspired burger. In a strange way, that works both for and against it. None of the toppings completely overwhelms your palate, but no single component truly steals the show either.
The Tex-Mex Burger City Works

Despite a few minor drawbacks, we still enjoyed the Tex-Mex Burger, which is our standard burger experience at City Works Eatery & Pour House. It’s a fun, indulgent option that also fits right with their menu. It becomes a permanent addition on February 4, 2026.
City Works also offers Walt Disney World annual passholder discounts, which help boost the value even more. Additionally, when you consider that it’s hard to find a quality burger at Walt Disney World for under $25, this one lands in a pretty comfortable sweet spot. If you’re craving a burger with bold toppings, generous sides, and solid value at Disney Springs, the Tex-Mex Burger at City Works is worth checking out.
