We reviewed the STK Orlando Happy Hour cheeseburger at Disney Springs. Is this $9 steakhouse deal the best meal in Walt Disney World?
In the high-stakes world of Disney Springs dining, where prices often climb faster than the drop on Expedition Everest, finding a legitimate “steal” feels like uncovering a hidden Mickey in plain sight. Enter STK Orlando, a venue typically known for its “vibe-dining” and premium price tags.
While a dinner here can easily rival the cost of a multi-day park hopper, their Happy Hour, and specifically the STK Cheeseburger, has become a go-to for savvy theme park fans. During our most recent visit, we found this to be a fantastic deal and a high-quality burger, though there are a few quirks you should know before you go.
The Vibe: High-Energy and Ultra-Modern
Walking into STK Orlando is a departure from the whimsical architecture of the rest of Disney Springs. Located in The Landing, the restaurant feels like a portal to a high-end Meatpacking District lounge. The decor is sleek: white leather booths, dark wood accents, and striking floral arrangements.
During the afternoon Happy Hour, the vibe is surprisingly accessible. You get the upscale “see and be seen” atmosphere without the late-night intensity. However, keep in mind that these deals are available in the bar, lounge, and patio areas only. If you book a standard table in the main dining room, you won’t be able to access this specific menu.
The Main Event: The STK Cheeseburger Deal
The star of the show is the STK Cheeseburger. In an era where a quick-service burger at a Disney park can set you back $15, STK’s Happy Hour price point of $9 is a total disruptor.
The Official Build
This isn’t a “slider” (those are the “Lil’ BRGs” also found on the menu). This is a substantial burger built with:

However, no review is complete without the details. During our visit, we noticed a comically small ketchup ration served with the chips. If you’re the type of person who likes a little potato with your ketchup, you’ll be asking your server for refills almost immediately.
Furthermore, we have to address the “Comparison Trap.” While the $9 Happy Hour burger is an incredible value, we found it was not quite as good as the $10 STK lunch burger. Why? The lunch version typically comes with a side of their excellent fries rather than the chips, and the overall execution felt slightly more premium. That said, for $9 in the middle of a Disney vacation, complaining feels like nitpicking.

If you want to take advantage of these prices, you have to time your visit perfectly. STK Orlando is one of the few places in Disney Springs that offers these deals every single day of the week, including late nights.
