Grande Lakes Orlando, the sprawling 500-acre luxury destination home to The Ritz-Carlton Orlando and JW Marriott Orlando, has officially unveiled its inaugural Spring Break by the Lake program. This brand-new series transforms the headwaters of the Florida Everglades into a hub for outdoor adventure, nostalgic competition, and high-end wellness. Running through the spring season, the series is designed to foster “family togetherness and social bonding” through a curated mix of lakeside activities and signature holiday events.

The centerpiece of the season is the Grande Family Classic. Held on Saturdays from March 14 to April 11, 2026, this event invites families to compete in nostalgic favorites like potato sack races, three-legged races, and egg-on-spoon challenges for a chance to win prizes.

Other lakeside highlights include:

  • Stargazing & S’mores: Join Marq Maquette, Curator of the American Space Museum, for an immersive night of space exploration stories and telescope viewing.

For more casual fitness, the Wellness Club offers social activities on the lawn ranging from cold plunges and lakeside runs to yoga and fitness classes. Runners can also mark their calendars for the St. Patrick’s Lucky Stride 5K on March 15.
