The SONIC America Menu features a mix of savory staples and a highly anticipated seasonal return:

  • Red, White & Blue Slush Float: A festive summer treat returning for the season, featuring icy blue raspberry flavor, creamy vanilla soft serve and real strawberries
  • Jr. Double Cheeseburger: Two beef patties, seasoned and layered with melty American cheese, pickles, ketchup and mustard, all on a golden, toasted bun
  • All-American Hot Dog: A SONIC staple topped with ketchup, mustard, relish, diced onions and served in a soft, warm bakery bun
  • Medium Onion Rings: Crispy, golden onion rings

To make the summer stretch even more nostalgic, drink purchases will be served in limited-edition 20-ounce cups commemorating America’s 250th. The collectible cups feature custom designs inspired by iconic U.S. landmarks, bringing a little extra patriotic spirit to your daily drive-in run.

Giving Back to History Classrooms

The frozen treat features distinct patriotic layers: a vibrant blue slush at the bottom, a white vanilla soft serve middle layer with a white Sonic logo on the cup, and a bright red strawberry topping with a blue straw sticking out.

The celebration goes beyond affordable eats. Through its Limeades for Learning initiative, the SONIC Foundation is stepping up to support educators keeping American history alive for the next generation.

In July the SONIC Foundation will donate $250,000 through education nonprofit DonorsChoose to support teachers and help fund history-related classroom projects in honor of this historic milestone. The funding is made possible through Limeades for Learning, where a portion of every drink, slush, and shake purchase is donated to the SONIC Foundation to support public education and empower teachers and students in communities nationwide.

Powered by the SONIC Foundation, SONIC has donated more than $32 million to support local classrooms since 2009, making it one of the largest programs supporting public education in the United States. Whether you’re looking to cool down with a layered red, white, and blue slush or craving a backyard-style hot dog on a budget, you have until July 12 to cash in on this limited-time birthday bash.
