The 75th-anniversary celebration for Jack in the Box is officially getting a “smashed” upgrade. Following the success of the full-sized Smashed Jack burger, which executives noted nearly doubled earnings forecasts upon its 2024 debut, the chain is shrinking the fan-favorite into a snackable new format: Smashed Jack Sliders.

Launching nationwide on April 6, 2026, these sliders are a nostalgic nod to the brand’s 2009 Mini Sirloin Sliders but with a modern, “smashed-inspired” twist. Each slider features a two-ounce seasoned beef patty with the signature crispy edges, topped with American cheese, pickles, and the tangy Smashed Jack sauce (formerly known as Boss Sauce) on a toasted brioche bun.

Smashed Jack Sliders: More Than Just a Snack

Jack in the Box

Jack in the Box isn’t just dropping a single menu item; they are building an entire experience around this launch. However, for those looking for a full meal, the Smashed Jack Sliders Munchie Meal includes two sliders, two tacos, curly fries, and a drink.

Additionally, to engage collectors and superfans, the meal includes a “Surprise Cup” containing a blind-bagged Jack pin. Rare gold pins can even unlock entries for a $75,000 grand prize. For groups, a Smashed Jack Sliders Party Pack is also available, featuring eight sliders.

  • 3-piece Smashed Jack Sliders, starting at $9.49
  • Smashed Jack Sliders Munchie Meal, starting at $14, with two sliders, two tacos, curly fries, a drink, and a surprise cup with a collectible Jack pin

A Year of Throwbacks

The sliders arrive as part of a year-long 75th-anniversary campaign that has already seen the return of the Chicken Supreme and the Hot Mess Burger. With CEO Lance Tucker’s “Jack on Track” turnaround plan in full swing, these innovations aim to capture both nostalgic longtime fans and a younger, late-night audience. Whether you’re looking for a quick add-on to your order or a full Munchie Meal haul, these sliders represent the latest chapter in Jack’s long history of fast-food adventures.

Will the Jack in the Box location opening in Clermont have these when it opens? Only time will tell. However, central Florida fast food fans can visit the recently opened Longwood Jack in the Box location.
