Tailgate menus just got a massive upgrade this football season. Slim Chickens, the fast-casual chicken franchise, has announced an exclusive nationwide collaboration with Dr Pepper to launch Dr Pepper Blasted Tenders, Tender Bites, and Wings. The limited-time menu addition will be available through November 16th at all domestic Slim Chickens locations.
Dr Pepper Blasted Tenders at Slim Chickens
This unique pairing combines the iconic, 23-flavor taste of Dr Pepper with Slim Chickens’ signature hand-breaded chicken. Unlike typical sauce-heavy releases or marinated items, Dr Pepper Blasted features a proprietary dry seasoning blend applied by hand immediately after the chicken leaves the fryer. The seasoning adheres directly to the crispy coating, delivering unmistakable Dr Pepper flavor in every bite at no extra charge.
“We don’t add flavors to our tenders lightly – tenders and sauce are the whole reason people know us,” said Patrick Noone, chief marketing officer at Slim Chickens. “Dr Pepper Blasted cleared that bar. It is bold, it is unmistakable, and the only place in the country you can get it is at Slim Chickens.”
Designed specifically around the energy of college football season, the rollout taps into the deep traditions of tailgating and watch parties.
