The 2025 Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld Orlando will end on May 4. We decided to return to check on some menu items. During our most recent visit, we emphasized festival food items we think will be bad for future events at SeaWorld Orlando.

The Mediterranean Market at SeaWorld’s Seven Seas Food Festival has three food items for guests. They include:

  • Old World Grilled Lamb Chop – Grilled Lamb chops, served with Olive Tapenade, Boursin Mashed Potatoes, and Tzatziki Sauce
  • Mini Beef Gyro – Beef Gyro, Lettuce, Tomato, Feta Cheese, Red Onion, Tzatziki Sauce
  • Baklava – Flaky Filo Dough Layered with Honey Drenched Walnuts.

The lamb chop at SeaWorld Orlando is a tried-and-true menu item. It tastes great every time we have it, no matter the event. Thus, on this visit, we went in a different direction to confirm the quality of another menu item. On our most recent visit, we decided to check out the “new” item for this festival, the Mini Beef Gyro. Guests should be aware that it costs $11.99 without a sampler lanyard.

We tried this on the opening night of the Seven Seas Food Festival, months ago, so we wanted to try it again. We also suspect this style of menu item will be returning for future food events at SeaWorld Orlando. The Seven Seas Food Festival runs on Thursdays through Sundays until May 4. Many guests may be unable to visit to try it before this event ends, but a similar menu item will likely be at future festivals. That reasoning steered us toward this festival food option during our most recent visit.

Mini Beef Gyro at Seven Seas Food Festival – $11.99

Upon initial inspection, the gyro we received during this visit looked far better than the one we had on opening night. It includes more pita bread and looks like a larger portion overall. In fairness, the ambassadors at the Mediterranean Kitchen recognized us, which could have played a role in the portion size. However, I cannot be sure, but we wanted to give the reader all pertinent information.

The pita bread tasted fresh. The beef tasted better than the last time we had it, but it still did not dazzle us. Nevertheless, the feta cheese and tzatziki sauce compensated for that. The tzatziki sauce lacks a robust flavor but does pair well with the beet and pita bread.

For a food festival-sized item, this qualifies as very shareable. Well, at least on this day, we got two pieces of pita bread and a reasonable amount of beef on each one. Those were covered in lettuce, onions, sauce, and feta cheese.

Compared to our opening night version, we found this far better in every way. Once again, food festivals are tougher to review since preparation changes. Based on this experience, we would give this gyro a much higher rating than before.  We did have this gyro early in the day. That might stand as a key factor regarding our higher option on this for future guests.
