Scooby-Doo, Shorter Waits, and Splashy Treats: Volcano Bay Nights Return for Fall 2025

We previously reported on the return of Universal Volcano Bay Nights, and now the fall edition is officially here — complete with new entertainment, themed treats, and appearances from Scooby-Doo and the gang.

The waves are crashing, the DJ is spinning, and Scooby-Doo is on the case — because Universal Volcano Bay Nights are officially back for Fall 2025, and they’re bigger, bolder, and spookier than ever. Starting tonight, September 5, and running every Friday through October 31, this exclusive, limited-capacity after-hours event transforms Universal’s tropical water park into a lava-lit playground filled with thrills, chills, and some seriously good snacks.

After-Dark Adventure Awaits

Volcano Bay Nights lets guests enjoy the park with early access beginning at 4:00 p.m., but the real fun kicks off when the official event begins at 7:00 p.m. and runs through 11:00 p.m. With limited crowds and lower wait times, it’s the perfect way to conquer your favorite attractions — like Krakatau Aqua Coaster, Ko’okiri Body Plunge, and TeAwa the Fearless River — under the stars and glowing torches of this immersive island paradise.

But this year, there’s a fun twist in the fog.

Scooby-Doo and the Gang Crash the Party

For the first time ever, guests will encounter live appearances from Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Fred, and Daphne, along with the iconic Mystery Machine and a not-so-friendly visit from the classic animated villain Ghost Clown. Whether you’re posing for pics or solving a tropical mystery, this is a spooky surprise that blends perfectly with Volcano Bay’s glowing, nighttime energy.

What’s on the Menu?

Let’s talk snacks — because event admission includes some tasty treats you won’t want to miss. Grab a bite of Churro Bites with Mango or Chocolate Dipping Sauce, munch on Golden Pineapple & Coconut Popcorn, and sip on more than 100 Coca-Cola Freestyle drink combinations in a special Volcano Bay souvenir cup with free refills all night long.

Even more specialty food items will be available for purchase at spots like Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club, Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona, and other select snack stands throughout the park.

Ticket Info & Extras

🎟️ Tickets start at $99 plus tax per person, and standard self-parking is included in the price.

💳 Universal Orlando Passholders can score a 10% discount with a valid Annual or Seasonal Pass and photo ID.

🌴 Want to upgrade your night? Private cabanas are available starting at $279.99, but they must be reserved in person at the concierge huts and are first-come, first-served.

Should You Go?

If you love water parks, nighttime events, Halloween vibes without the full terror, and a little Scooby-Doo nostalgia, Volcano Bay Nights is absolutely worth checking out. The limited crowds, cooler temps, and after-dark island atmosphere make for a unique experience you can’t get during regular park hours — especially with all the bonus food and characters.

So pack your towel, grab your crew, and get ready to solve a mystery while floating down a fearless river. Volcano Bay Nights has returned — and it’s the perfect way to heat up your Friday nights this fall.
