Fan-favorite ice cream maker Salt & Straw is once again pushing culinary boundaries with the return of its inventive Waste Less Series for 2026. Known for transforming overlooked and excess ingredients into crave-worthy creations, the lineup highlights sustainability without sacrificing flavor, making it one of the most anticipated seasonal menus for theme park and foodie fans alike.
The Salt & Straw Waste Less Series is built around a simple but impactful concept: reduce food waste by reimagining ingredients that would otherwise be discarded. By partnering with farmers, producers, and food makers, Salt & Straw crafts small-batch ice creams using items like spent grains, bruised fruit, and surplus baked goods. The result? Unexpected flavor combinations that tell a story while supporting a more sustainable food system.
