Crank the volume because Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is officially ready to take center stage at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 26. The legendary attraction roars back to life with a rock-charged remix that puts guests in the middle of The Electric Mayhem’s biggest night.
The Experience: One Night Only!
Your VIP tour begins at G-Force Records, which is now under new management thanks to J.P. Grosse. Inside, you will find the first-ever Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter, alongside a team of penguin audio engineers. As the band rehearses for their concert, you’ll board a “Lengthy Immediate Motion Object” (L.I.M.O.) to get them to the show on time.
The ride features a new psychedelic guitar marquee and a “set list” of five tracks from The Electric Mayhem, including collaborations with artists like Kelly Clarkson and Def Leppard. Throughout the queue and attraction, keep an eye out for celebrity cameos from stars such as Travis Barker and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Passholder Preview Details
Annual Passholders have an exclusive opportunity to experience the high-speed thrills before the general public on May 21, 22, and 23.
How to Join the Preview Virtual Queue:
- Step One: Make a theme park reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios for your preview day.
- Step Two: Use the My Disney Experience app to request a spot in the virtual queue. There are three daily distribution times:
- 7:00 AM: Available to Passholders with a Hollywood Studios reservation.
- 11:00 AM: Available to Passholders with a reservation to any park (must enter their reserved park first).
- 3:00 PM: Available to any Passholder with valid admission; no park reservation is required at this time.
- Bonus Perk: Passholders participating in the previews can enjoy complimentary downloads of their attraction photo from Disney PhotoPass Service.
Please note that the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster virtual queue will only be used during these preview dates; it is not currently planned for the official Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster opening on May 26.
